If the transgressions now alleged by the SGI against the Nichiren Shoshu are true [and there is no reason to doubt it], we have to conclude that the SGI is equally guilty by virtue of not merely ignoring the serious slander but of covering it up through lies and misrepresentations for fifty years. Thus, if the SGI's present attacks on the Nichiren Shoshu are true, the SGI convicts itself of fifty years of slander by association.
