  1. Awww- so sweet!
What became of your little howling wolf pup?
these pics and threads comments about treasured pets are very timely for me-- having just had to part with, say "good bye" to my 12 year old Papillion , "Benzo"-- last Monday the 19th.

Thank you and Greg for sharing-- it is a great comfort for me...

  3. Fluffy is five and a half months old and fifty pounds. Very beautiful, having a mane, and friendly. We imagine he will grow to 140 lbs like his dad. He has a slightly curved spine like a cheetah, allowing him to stretch out and recoil when he runs. Should be able to reach 45 miles per hour. He eats almost everything including pineapple and pickles.

  5. My "Benzo" loved to get close to me whenever I was chanting--and would stay close even on those occasions when I chanted hours at a time. But, the most unique thing about him, as I understand most all animals love the sound of daimoku, is that Benzo would begin to howl when I rang the bell, signaling I was closing-- . He would protest the closing of daimoku-- howling like a little lone wolf-- which he NEVER did at any other time, always just the standard small breed dog 'yapping". My grand daughter commented that Benzo could make an "o" shape with his dog lips-- and that he was probably trying to chant all by himself!!

I miss him like crazy-- just a teacup Maltese, Pia now--and she is 11. I do have occasional visits from the Springers-- but I don't think I will even try to replace Benzo--

Thanks for update on Fluffy-- such an adorable little guy-- sounds like he is becoming a noble beast, but am sure he is still quite loveably cuddly.

I have always been intrigued by wild animals-- if Trump really takes up residence n the White house, am thinking about going to South Africa where Kevin Richardson's wild life preserve is located-- maybe spend the final chapter of my life with REAL lions! At least it is something to look forward to--- in the worst case scenario--

Or maybe open a dog *Bistro*-?- including all of the popular items you guys mention on the menu. I might even introduce a *steak bone* or a *ham hock* Pizza for those special occasions---

can never understand how people can be cruel or even indifferent to animals. especially dogs.

if you do abscond to s africa....let us know and i will hook you up with two friends who moved there 5 years ago. long time ago introduced them to buddhism...didn't care for the gak. i don't think they still chant, however, very nice people. they love s africa. yep !
