The act of chanting together is engaged Buddhism

It brings people together in a way much more interpersonal than silent meditation. It also tears down the wall of separation between people.

    the transmission of the law is the daimoku. so, no particular group is necessary. i can smell the ski and the shoshu shitting their pants !
