Katie Higgins a true hero of the world

She is a true hero battling the Christians, SGI, and the other fake "Nichiren" Buddhists on Google Group, Alternate, Religion, Buddhism of Nichiren. Also, she is a hero in the secular realm, battling the unjust system in the realm of pediatric psychiatry. I am amazed at her tenacity and forbearance. Shakyamuni Buddha and Nichiren would be proud of their disciple.

    4. BELATED REPLY TO MAXWELL : hi maxwell, the kevin higgins you are referring to here is not kin --my husband tells me there are a few other "kevin higgins" who are in the "music business". my husband is a jazz drummer/composer, great of berklee here in boston. he still jams, records and does gigs with his buddies, and has recorded CD's of his original music but never widely marketed them.

i have been engaged in more intense study these days and usually just reading here for marks "gems" - glad you are here and in a seeking mode. i am very indebted to mark, greg and shinkei for steering me toward the true teachings. i wouldn't call myself a "hero" as much as someone who cares most deeply about what is true and correct regarding nichiren.

BTW, i had no trouble separating from SGI--3 times ex-communicated for questioning and challenging top leaders in boston and L.A.-- thanks to mark and greg, i understand why "they didn't like me much" and special thanks to shinkei for opening my eyes to the underlying issues that inform the heretical slander that prevails in SGI/SHOSHU/SHU. as it turns out, it really is important to study widely, broadly and expansively---otherwise one might never learn exactly WHAT these heretical sects base their teachings on !

      cheers !

  2. As long as we are handing out honorary accolades this morning, I would like to present the Maxwell House " Sniff Test Blue Ribbon Award" to.....drum roll please.....to the good Doc, Mark Rogow!!!!I let my fingers do the walking all the way to Sallisaw, OK...there I found the good impressions left by the good Doctor.....many exclaimed him to be a "man of compassion".....so people, don't let that brusque exterior displayed here belie the motivation, for it is - compassion driven. And by the way, I expected to find nothing less.

  4. Everyone loves me except for those who hate me. There are few living examples of true practitioners of the Lotus Sutra, those who practice Shakyamuni and fuju-fuse. That's why I chose Shinkei as my priest and, and Greg and Katie as my good friends. I also highly respect the Japanese shakubuku scholar, Sokodoppo.

  5. That should have read Shakubuk, not Shakyamuni.
