interesting discussion i guess. however, at the end of the day, according to the original buddha and the ordained teacher for the latter day, nichiren, study is to support one thing....that one thing is FAITH, not knowledge . one has faith or one does not. one either has CORRECT FAITH or now does not. faith leads to wisdom and understanding - end of story. i believe this was katie's point more so than noels. for me, katie wins!
it never fails to amaze me that people would spend hours and days/years chanting the daimoku brought by nichiren, if the they doubted his other words(teachings) . the world , today, especially america, is stupid. most christians are stupid. believing in ghosts and gobblens, and stupid fairlytales. people who stay with any of the sects.... SGI, SHU, SHOSHU etc are stupid. the world needs to wake up !!!
