Do you continue to remain friends or do you break off the relationship? Your SGI friends are bad friends who repeatedly lie to you about the most important thing in your life, your faith and practice of Nichiren Daishonin's Lotus Sutra Buddhism and the nature of the SGI organization. Shouldn't you find some good friends who will never lie to you regarding the faith and practice of the Lotus Sutra?
I joined the SGI in March of 1998, and left them behind in the early 2000s to practice independently. I realized the same as many before and after me, that they are only about themselves and Ikeda. No talk about Siddhartha or his teachings in the lotus sutra. I am so proud to be an independent Nichiren Buddhist.
