Where were the protesters during the Obama administration?<br />Regarding guidance: Was Noriega a hero that deserved the friendship of President Ikeda, or a drug lord? Thatcher -- was she a positive role model for women, as President Ikeda asserted. Winston Churchill? Fidel Castro? And when one insists that Castro "loves his people."? True, people need to have a realistic view of the shadows and light that are aspects of everyone, but President Ikeda doesn't seem to address the shadows of some of the leaders that he praises. But the authoritarian warmongers he seems to admire are very antithetical to the spirit of resisting authoritarianism.
