Excerpt from a poem by Daisaku Ikeda
Leader of Soka Gakkai International SGI
December 1, 2000 Soka Gakkai World Tribune
"The Victorious Future of Mentor and Disciple"
I can see
Those who are like demons
Milling around what,
Unbeknownst to them,
Is only an execution block.
They trample
The noble spirit
Of the Daishonin
And have become
Pitiful robbers of the Law.
Like a rapacious swarm of locusts,
Nikken and his cronies
Have exploited and persecuted
And even plotted to destroy
The Soka Gakkai,
An organization of the highest good
That has made unprecedented contributions
To spreading the Law
And worked so hard
To support and protect the priesthood.
Their evil deeds
Will go down forever in history
And they will be severely judged
According to the law of cause and effect.
This I believe
To be the unwavering position
Of the Daishonin.
It will be just as he states
In the writing "On Persecutions Befalling the Sage":
They "seem to be free from punishment at first,
But eventually they are all doomed to fall"
(The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, p. 997).
The plots and schemes of High Priest Nikken Abe and his cohorts,
Spinning a web of the most base lies
And vicious slander,
Were designed to bring us down.
Yet
We shone on brightly
Like the morning sun!
We rose boldly to the challenge,
And began our battle!
The Daishonin, too,
Was slandered as an immoral priest,
And his struggles amid persecution
Were beyond description.
Our first president Tsunesaburo Makiguchi
Used to strictly remind us
That in comparison
The persecution we encounter
Is truly small and trivial.
With silent forbearance,
The firm resolve demonstrated by the Buddha
Engraved in our hearts,
We waged an arduous struggle
To overcome
Every imaginable
Haughty and arrogant utterance.
We will not be defeated.
We are fed up
With the clamoring and abusive foolishness
Of these spiritual paupers.
In fact, our mighty, passionate spirit
Only burns all the brighter.
They who are
At times frenzied,
At times coldly silent,
At times filled with excuses,
Will eventually depart this world,
Gasping and trembling in fear.
Backsliders in faith!
Are you satisfied
To lead a life
Trapped in a maze
Of hellish depths?
Slanderers of the Law!
Having corrupted the Daishonin's teachings
And veered from the eternal truth,
Are you prepared
To drift along forever in a state of life
Of agonized defeat?
Traitors!
Having turned your backs
On the Daishonin's golden words,
Are you ready
To be burned in the fires
Of the hell of incessant suffering?
To be imprisoned in a cavern
In the hell of extreme cold?
To be shut off in the darkness
Of misery and strife,
Forever deprived of the sun's light?

Even the unfilial SGI and Nichiren Shoshu members are the beloved children of Shakyamuni Buddha
"We, the various beings who live in this world, have been the beloved children of Shakyamuni Buddha, the lord of teachings, since numberless major world system dust particle kalpas in the past. And though because of the offense of our unfilial behavior we are unaware of this to this day, we are nevertheless not the same as the beings of another realm."
Strictly observing the mentor's teachings
"We must also bear the following lesson in mind: People who betray their mentor criticize those who strictly observe the mentor’s teaching and interpret that teaching themselves in a biased manner as being non-Buddhist. In disparaging the correct interpretation as being “similar to non-Buddhist literature” or a “superficial reading,” such persons, in their arrogance, suggest that they themselves have grasped the ultimate teaching of Buddhism when in fact they have not." -- Soka Spirit
Yet, those who see the double standard of what the SGI mentor teaches in contrast to how the Soka Gakkai top leaders speak and act are vilified and marginalized within the organization. Soka Spirit talks the talk but SGI fails to walk the walk.

The meaning of world peace
It doesn't mean living in an obsequious manner. It doesn't mean promoting interfaith. It doesn't mean adopting an inferior mentor. World peace and living with everybody means no will to kill. The Lotus Sutra gives us the compassion, wisdom, and courage to have no will to kill.
Which mentor do you have in your heart?
“It means to have a mentor in your heart while standing on your own two feet. President Toda resides in my heart. This is not something you speak out loud; it’s a matter of the heart. This is because unity is something that exists inside you.’ At all times, no matter where I am, I feel as if I am constantly engaging in dialogue with President Toda as I go about my activities. Our unity exists within me. This unity of mentor and disciple transcends distance and time...” -- Taisaku Ikeda
"When in one’s heart one takes faith in Namu-myoho-renge-kyo, the heart becomes a dwelling and Shakyamuni Buddha takes up residence there. At first one is not aware of this, but gradually, as the months go by, the Buddha in the heart begins to appear as in a dream, and one’s heart becomes bit by bit ever more joyful. Numerous are the teachings of Buddhism in this regard, but I will not go into them here."
"Moreover, passages in the sutra tell us that when demons have entered a person’s body, that person cannot take faith in the sutra, but when the spirit of Shakyamuni Buddha has entered one’s body, then one can believe in this sutra. When the reflection of the moon enters the water, the water becomes pure. In the same way, the reflection of the moon that is Shakyamuni Buddha, the lord of teachings, has entered the waters of your heart, [and your heart has become pure]. I find this most reassuring."
It is precisely because Daisaku Ikeda rather than Shakyamuni Buddha has entered their heart that they disbelieve the Sutra and the teachings of Nichiren.
"If we examine the Lotus Sutra, we find it stated that, in cases like these, Shakyamuni Buddha enters into a person and inspires such determination in that person’s heart. It is like someone who, with no particular thought in mind, drinks sake and becomes intoxicated. After he is intoxicated, a quite unexpected desire arises in his heart and he is inspired to give away his belongings to other people. Although the person has all his life been stingy and greedy and is destined for rebirth in the realm of hungry spirits, because of the effect of the sake, he is able to enter the realm of a bodhisattva."
They've all gone done in flames. Every last one of them.
SGI will no longer dialogue or debate because they have never overturned one of our points on the Lotus Sutra, the teachings of Nichiren Daishonin, the Soka Gakkai, or Daisaku Ikeda. All they can hope for is to succeed in closing the Eagle Peak Blog, as they have with the Lotus Sutra Revealing the Original Buddha blog and the Kempon Hokke Beliefnet forum [so no one will be privy to their defeat].
Soka Lion, Clown Hidden, Top Senior Leader, Watcher [Ian McIlraith], Daniel, Stephanie, Loris, CL, Patrick, Anonymous 1,2,3 and so on, Nichiren Buddhist, and many others have all gone down in flames due to their temerity, warped faith, and shallow study.

Absolute proof of no actual proof in the Soka Gakkai religion [Ikedaism]
Nichiren tied an oath to the statue of Shakyamuni Buddha and saved his temple from falling into the hands of Tojo Kakenobu and the Amidists:
"...The villainous Tojo Saemon Kagenobu once hunted the deer and other animals kept by Seicho-ji, and tried to force the priests in the various lodging temples to become Nembutsu believers. At that time I pitted myself against Tojo and supported the lord of the manor. I composed a fervent oath that read, “If the two temples Kiyosumi and Futama should come into Tojo’s possession, I will discard the Lotus Sutra!” Then I tied it to the hand of the object of devotion, to which I prayed continuously. Within a year, both temples had been freed from Tojo’s grasp. Certainly Bodhisattva Space Treasury will never forget this, so how can those priests who make light of me avoid being forsaken by the heavenly gods? Hearing me say this, the more foolish of you may think that I am invoking a curse upon you. But that is not so. I am warning you simply because it would be a pity if you should fall into the hell of incessant suffering after your death."
The SGI couldn't even save "The High Sanctuary of the Ten Thousand Years and More of the Latter Age" from the clutches of the evil Nikken sect with trillions of Daimoku and oaths on every SGI altar.

How fortunate are we!
"Those who have a mentor in life are truly fortunate. The path of mentor and disciple is one that leads to personal development and growth. Those without a mentor may appear free and unbeholden to anyone, but without a solid standard or model on which to base themselves their lives will be aimless and wandering." --D.Ikeda on May 3rd, Mentor Disciple Day
Every day is Mentor Disciple day for the disciples and believers of Nichiren. There is not a day that goes by that we don't meet with our mentors, Shakyamuni Buddha and Nichiren Daishonin. We model ourselves on the Lotus Sutra and writings of nichiren. nothing could be more solid. How pitiful are SGI members, revering a multinational, religious, corporate, billionaire cult leader. How fortunate are we!
Why we are the perfect Sangha
“How does one hear, believe in and practice the perfect teaching to attain perfect enlightenment?” “Believing in the perfect teaching means to “awaken” faith through doctrine [of the Lotus Sutra] and make faith the basis of One’s practice.” -- Nichiren quoting the Maka Shikan of Tientai
If the doctrine is flawed, faith is flawed. SGI and Nichiren Shoshu's doctrines are flawed. Believing that a living mentor or High Priest is required to attain Buddhahood is the most noxious poison for one's faith. Myoho renge kyo is the perfect doctrine. Shakyamuni Buddha and Nichiren Daishonin are the perfect teachers. Since we maintain perfect doctrine through the Sutra scrolls and writings of Nichiren Daishonin only, we are the perfect Sangha
Two views of attachments
"Attachments are good and some attachments are better than others." -- Daisaku Ikeda
"Attachments are bad and some attachments are worse than others." -- Nichiren Daishonin
"The Nirvana Sutra says: “[WorldHonored One, today I have learned the correct view for the first time. World- Honored One, up till today] we all have been people of mistaken views.” Miao-lo explains this by saying, “They themselves referred to the three teachings [they had practiced until that time] as mistaken views.” and Great Concentration and Insight says, “The Nirvana Sutra says, ‘Up till today we all have been people of mistaken views.’ ‘Mistaken’ is bad, is it not?” The Annotations on “Great Concentration and Insight” says: “‘Mistaken’ is bad. Therefore, let it be known that only the perfect teaching is good. There are two meanings involved here. First, what accords with the truth is to be accounted good, and what goes against the truth is to be accounted bad. This is the meaning of the relative viewpoint. [Second], attachment [to this viewpoint] is bad, and transcending it is good. [This is the meaning from the absolute viewpoint.] From both the relative and absolute viewpoints, we should abandon all that is bad. To be attached to the perfect teaching is bad, and to be attached to the other [three] teachings is of course even worse.”-- Opening of the Eyes
My SGI followers
"I am a member of Soka Gakkai and I am writing to you after reading your article ... it is disconcerting for me to determine the amount of crap that is collected on your page "
"... I suggest you delete all the crap you write against the Soka Gakkai, otherwise I'll do it for you."
"... All you do is attack. For a true Buddhist it is a shame but since YOU'RE NOT a true Buddhist, I understand why you act that way.... "
"I have nothing to add except that I shall undertake to fully investigate the purpose of your website and whether it violates articles of the Italian constitution"
The Hell of the Crimson Lotus
"The hell of the crimson lotus and the hell of the great crimson lotus are two of the eight cold hells. They are so called because the intense cold there makes one double over until one’s back splits open and the bloody flesh blossoms like a crimson lotus flower." -- Nichiren Daishonin
Even Many Treasures Buddha is a follower of Shakyamuni Buddha but no, not the Soka Gakkai
"The Vairochana Buddha seated on the lotus pedestal with other Buddhas surrounding him in the ten directions, who is described in the Flower Garland Sutra, and the Thus Come One Mahāvairochana of the Diamond Realm and the Womb Realm, who is described in the Mahāvairochana and Diamond Crown sutras, are attendants who stand on the left and right of the Thus Come One Many Treasures, the Buddha described in the “Treasure Tower” chapter of the Lotus Sutra. They are like two high ministers in attendance on a worldly ruler. And this Many Treasures Buddha is a follower of Shakyamuni Buddha, the lord of teachings of the “Life Span” chapter."
"The gakkai (on the inside) is exactly the opposite of everything they claim to stand for (on the outside)."- Hitch
"Being a gakkai cult member requires that one submit to shackling ritual, a superstitious mindset, magical thinking, and Dear Leader Hero worship. The gakkai cult-org. has outright post-hoc admitted (directly from the horse's mouth) that they manifested "cult characteristics" in the "past." In the case of the gakkai, once a cult, always a cult.
The more the gakkai tries to change their image/ways to suit the times, the more it becomes apparent that they are merely ad-libbing (in an arrogantly reckless manner, I might add) for survival as they go along and have no genuine compass-navigation values. Many of the "values" being touted today have been re-invented from past polar opposite positions. Propaganda always adapts to the times, doesn't it? This may not be readily apparent to new converts, but for those long familiar with the gakkai cult (myself included, having grew up in it), it is painfully obvious.
Regarding emulated behavior: survival within the gakkai, especially in order to climb up its hierarchical ladder, requires obedient, without question or independent thought, slavish submission to all above you and mandates that everyone below you do the same to you in return. This is how the cult-org. ultimately functions, with mindless automatons, by definition, operating without morals or conscience.

The million plus Muslim Hajj pilgrims take care of themselves. Why not the ten thousand Gakkai pilgrims?
"I remember when I went to Tozan many times in Taisekiji, there was still the Shohondo. While the Gakkai members (group named Soka Han) were guarding us from the way to the Dai-Gohonzon, some of Shoshu's priests were dancing with Sony Walkmans near us in the temple.
The "Soka-Han" were guarding us always not to cause any accident on our way to meet the Dai-Gohonzon and on our way back home. Guarding us, chanting for us without sleep until we get home safely. The priests never did like this." -- Byakuren K
SGI is Narcissism not Buddhism
"I have so much else to share with you and I am headed out the door to a conference...I will write more soon. Until then...how much can you summon love for your self...for your own precious life, for your body, your heart, your mind and spirit. How deeply can we love ourselves?" -- Jamie Lee Silver master of Ikedaism
