EXTRA EXTRA SGI member for 55 years excommunicated for enshrining copy of Nichiren Gohonzon

Since we enshrined the Denpo Gohonzon 5 months ago, after taking down SGI's Nichikan Gohonzon a serene atmosphere has pervaded throughout the house hold and in our daily life and many benefits have been flowing like what the SGI Gohonzon was supposed to do.

The 3 great secret laws is definitely working through this Gohonzon. I told this to 2 senior SGIA leaders today who came to our house to take back their SGI Gohonzon before excommunicating my wife that had been a member for 55 years. The first half was in Okinawa the 2nd here in the land down under Australia

You are right when you said this will happen.

Fancy being excommunicated over having an authentic complete Nichiren inscribed Gohonzon, how bizarre is that

They were insistent that it is more important to have faith in the Ten World Gohonzon that is within than the outward image of Gohonzon and that the other worlds that are missing in the Gohonzon exist in the worlds that are there in the Gohonzon. Mutual possession of the ten worlds kind of thing but with a few of the worlds missing, if you know what I mean

They said Nichikan was a great Priest who made right the wrongs of the Nichiren Shoshu priesthood that's why they chose his Gohonzon

They did sansho before the Denpo Gohozon when they arrived and before they left, they said all Gohonzon's are equal.

Nichiren said on first day of the tenth month of the second year of Kōan (1279) "Buddha fulfilled the purpose of his advent in a little over forty years, the Great Teacher T’ien-t’ai took about thirty years, and the Great Teacher Dengyō, some twenty years. I have spoken repeatedly of the indescribable persecutions they suffered during those years. For me it took twenty-seven years, and the great persecutions I faced during this period are well known to you all. (On Persecutions Befalling the Sage)

If you look at the charts of the progression of the Gohonzon there was a significant change, in that for the first time Devadatta appeared in the Gohonzon. The true presentation of the oneness of good and evil is now complete and ready for transformation by Myoho Renge Kyo

  1. There are many notable disciples of the Daishonin such as Reverend Kubota of the Kempon Hokke who agree with you, not to mention the Daishonin himself [if I may be so bold as to speak for the late Master on this matter]. SGI might change one dayto truly reflect the teachings of Nichiren but they seem to be going in the opposite direction.

    1. They definitely seem to be going in the opposite direction from recent events. They have been spreading rumours and lies that we have heard from friends in and outside of SGI about what the SGI has made up since the excommunication

      1. They say that I was excommunicated when I actually Resigned

      2. The SGI leaders brought a Lawyer with them to our place to
      excommunicate My wife

      3. Our Denpo Gohonzon is a high priest's Gohonzon (Nissho's) not Nichiren's authentic inscribed Gohonzon

      4. I was going on Television to denounce the Soka Gakkai

      5. My wife agreed with every thing that the SGI leader said on the day she was excommunicated

      6. If this is what we know about it would have to be just the tip of the iceberg

None of there behaviour surprises me as they are acting true to their form as they always have done. What a bunch of Dimwits they really deserve each other

    2. Not surprising. You must have had many SGI "friends" and they are afraid that you will influence them.

      Delete
    3. More SGI associates than friends. Now they have morphed us from being critics of the organisation into the Big Bad Wolf that wants to devour the sheeple

This is all the result from reading Nichiren's letters and taking them seriously, how unpopular you become, like public enemy number one

    1. "Excommunication is really a kind of banishment, a punishment that's handed out by a church when one of its members breaks some important church rule. The Latin root is excommunicare, meaning "put out of the community," which is just what happens when a person is excommunicated. (Dictionary)

When one of Sokka Gakkai members breaks some important organization rule such as having more than one Gohonzon they can put them out of the community

They asked my wife the question several times "are you sure that you don't want to keep this Nichikan Gohonzon" and when she said "yes" they told her that her name would be taken out of the membership

Now if this isn't excommunication, what is.

We have quite a few local SGI friends who have now enshrined Denpo Gohonzons for some time now after we did,

The SGI community knows about it as its created quite a stir as you could imagine.

None of our friends have been approached by the Leaders for excommunication as they did with my wife,

They were just itching to get rid of her because she had been raising her voice over the years about doctrinal issues based on Nichiren's Gosho that the organization had moved away from

They will use any means they can that suits them at the time to attain their objective, even if this means breaking their own rules, how convenient

We really cant take them seriously about anything they say, they are a slippery, slimy lowlife that stands for nothing but has a dormant Buddha nature, so there is hope that it will be activated in this life or in another - (compassionate thought)

  4. We have faith in the ten world Gohonzon within but not in their Gohonzon without, If they say all Gohonzon's are equal why should it matter to them what Gohonzon we have. This would have to be the height of their hypocrisy.

It's really all about the flag of the organisation not Nichiren and Shakyamuni

The Nichiren Shoshu claim that on October 12, 1279 Nichiren Shonin inscribed the Dai-Gohonzon. This Dai-Gohonzon is allegedly the supreme object of worship for all people. However, no one outside the priesthood of Nichiren Shoshu (including the priests and scholars of other Fuji school lineages of Nikko) gives any credence to this story.
The legend is that the Dai-Gohonzon was inscribed by Nichiren after the Atsuhara persectution in which laymembers gave their lives to uphold the Odaimoku. The Dai-Gohonzon was dedicated to someone named Yashiro Kunishige. The Dai-Gohonzon was then carved from a log of camphor wood found in a stream at Mt. Minobu by a disciple of Nichiren named Nippo. Supposedly, Nichiren referred to the creation of the Dai-Gohonzon in the "Shonin Gonan Ji" gosho where he says:

"The Buddha fulfilled the purpose of his advent in a little over forty years; T'ien-t'ai took about thirty years, and Dengyo, some twenty years. I have repeatedly spoken of the indescribable persecutions they suffered during those years. For me it took twenty-seven years, and the persecutions I faced during this period are well known to you all."

There is nothing in this Gosho, however, to make it clear what Nichiren was actually referring to. There is certainly no direct reference to any kind of Omandala let alone a Dai-Gohonzon. A Gosho called the "Jogyo Shoden Sho" refers to Nippo carving a statue of Nichiren from a log found in a river but this gosho is believed to be a pious forgery

"There is nothing in this Gosho"Shonin Gonan Ji"/persecutions falling a sage , however, to make it clear what Nichiren was actually referring to." This Gosho is authentic but I believe Nichiren Shoshu used to make up the story of the Dai Gohonzon

This is what I think this Gosho is talking about when he said that he fulfilled the purpose of his advent on the second year of Kōan (1279)

If you look at the charts of the progression of the Gohonzon from number 1- 60 there was a significant change at number 60 of 123 http://homepage3.nifty.com/juhoukai/mandara/mandaraitiran.html [none of Nichiren Shoshu's Gohonzons are on this list], in that for the first time Devadatta appeared in the Gohonzon second year of Kōan (1279). The Nichiren Shoshu claim that on October 12, of the second year of Kōan (1279) Nichiren Shonin inscribed the Dai-Gohonzon

This proves to me that Nichiren fulfilled the purpose of his advent 11 days before the so called Dai Gohonzon was inscribed

This was the first time that Nichiren inscribed a complete 10 world Gohonzon that didn't have anything suspicious about it

After no.60 During Koan 2nd, ten out twelve were complete 10 world Gohonzons more than the averages in Koan 3rd, 4th and 5th when he died

There is one exception from1-60, in no.13, Devadatta is inscribed on a ten world Gohonzon but this Gohonzon is considered so different that it was so out of character from all that were before it and all that came after it until number 60, which means it kind of suss/suspicious. After number 60 there were 66 ten world Gohonzons that contained Devadatta and 26 that didn't

When Nichiren was alive he gave Gohonzons to different people for different reasons, just his very presence was like a ten world Gohonzon. Having faith that Nichien was one with the law the same as his mentor Lord Shakyamuni Buddha would of more than compensated for what was left out in any of the Gohonzons he inscribed, but I believe he inscribed his life in sumi ink as a ten world Gohonzon for the transmission of the of law in this age of Mappo for everyone after his passing from this world

  7. "Answer: First, with regard to the object of devotion, one should inscribe the eight volumes of the Lotus Sutra, or one volume, or one chapter, or simply the daimoku, or title, of the sutra, and make that the object of devotion, as is indicated in the “Teacher of the Law” and “Supernatural Powers” chapters of the sutra. And those persons who are able to do so further should write out the names of the Thus Come One Shakyamuni and the Buddha Many Treasures, or fashion images of them, and place these on the left and right of the Lotus Sutra. And if they are further able to do so, they should fashion images or write out the names of the Buddhas of the ten directions and the bodhisattva Universal Worthy and the others." -- On Reciting the Daimoku of the Lotus Sutra, considered by Nikko as one of the Ten Major Writings of Nichiren [Sho Hokke Daimoku Sho]

  8. This is what I think the authentic Gosho 'persecutions falling a sage' that Nichiren wrote at Minobu on October 1 of the second year of Kōan (1279) is talking about when he said that he fulfilled the purpose of his advent. I believe it started started on the second month of the second year of Kōan (1279) the same year when he inscribed the 60th Gohonzon to Nichimoku, Nikko's disciple

If you look at the charts of the progression of the Gohonzon from number 1- 60 there was a significant change at number 60 of 123 Gohonzons in this Japanese chart.

[none of Nichiren Shoshu's Gohonzons are on this list],

This was the first time Devadatta appeared in the Gohonzon on the second month of the second year of Kōan (1279). The true presentation of the oneness of good and evil is now complete and ready for transformation by Myoho Renge Kyo

Nichiren Daishonin wrote this letter 'persecutions falling a sage' at Minobu on October 1 of the second year of Kōan (1279)

The Nichiren Shoshu claim that on October 12, of the second year of Kōan (1279) Nichiren Shonin inscribed the Dai-Gohonzon in which he the fulfilled the purpose of his advent

Nichiren fulfilled the purpose of his advent was about 7 months before the so called Dai Gohonzon was inscribed that started on the second month of the second year of Kōan (1279) when he inscribed the 1st non suspicious authentic complete ten world Gohonzon

Since Nichiren Shoshu don't display their Gohonzon's we can't really tell if no. 60 is the first authentic complete ten world Gohonzon but if we lack the evidence of their existence of their Gohonzon's like their Dai Gohonzon how can we trust them

Even if they have authentic complete ten world Gohonzon's
the purpose of Nichiren's advent was to inscribe a complete ten world Gohonzon's to transform the suffering that the negative life states of the ten worlds create in our lives and all sentient and insentient beings of this world and over to worlds to come, and no individual or sect has the right to create a monopoly on that for their personal gain

  9. The Prayer Gohonzon that many independents use is from 1277 and it is a Ten World Gohonzon ...

  10. O well, if it is a fake, and its not the 60th Gohonzon or the Dai Gohonzon that Nichiren fulfilled the purpose of his advent in 27 years. What could that purpose be that that he fulfilled in 1279 that he is referring to in (On Persecutions Befalling the Sage)

This is the so called ten world Prayer Gohonzon that many independents pray to, that does not contain Devadatta. In the Gohonzon, historical beings are not represented by the entities in the Gohonzon

Devadatta represents the Hellish state of our life and is represented as such, not a Devadatta that has already been transformed into heavenly king

The Denpo Gohonzon stands out from other Gohonzons in that it has inscribed in it - Shakushi (Nissho) Denshi) I Nichiren, pass on this Gohonzon to Nissho, who is the disciple of Shakyamuni Buddha,

Nissho being a disciple of Lord Shakyamuni Buddha was passed this Gohonzon in order to pass it on to others. This means that there is a continuance

In other Gohonzons Nichiren says I give, or offer this to a specific individual, no mention of pass which means, To be transferred from one to another; circulate:

Once more it is a complete 10 world Gohonzon, no doubt about it, unlike the Prayer Gohonzon , and Nichikans to mention a few.

After viewing the Prayer Gohonzon that isn't what it is supposed to be, and if this is the best that you can come up with, I will place my bets on the 60th Gohonzon as the purpose for Nichirens advent which was the beginning of the inscriptions of 10 world Gohonzons

  14. DENPO means to pass on the Law.

    Original Kanji character meaning

    DEN convey, transmit

    PO Law

This is why the Denpo Gohonzon is very special as far as what I have been able to find out about it in comparison with other Gohonzons

    Just it's name speaks volumes

  15. As far as Nichiren having fulfilled the purpose of his advent, it is my contention that Nichiren is referring to the raising of disciples willing to give up their lives for the sake of the Law [Atsuhara martyrs].
