Joe Colombo and Daisaku Ikeda

Joe Colombo was a very smart mob boss. He created the Italian-Amer-
ican Civil Rights League. There were two primary purposes for him hav-
ing formed this organization. The first was to take the heat off the Mafia.
He would organize the people to protest at the New York Times and
the New York Daily news every time these papers printed the word,
"mafia". The second reason he formed this organization was to make
money, of course. Every Italian store in the city had to advertise the
Italian Civil Rights League with appeals for donations. They received
more than a million dollars in donations. Some really naive people
actually believed the Italian Civil Rights League was formed for the
purpose of Italian civil rights and anti-discrimination. Colombo talked
the talk of civil rights but walked the walk of money and enriching
himself and his cronies.
Daisaku Ikeda is ten thousand, one hundred thousand times more
intelligent and cunning than Joe Colombo. Raising the banner of world
peace, kosen rufu, nuclear abolition, Hiroshima, the holocaust, Rosa
Parks, Mahatma Ghandi, and Martin Luther King, he takes the heat off
the authoritarian anti-Buddhist sect known as the Soka Gakkai. At the
same time, not millions but billions roll in in donations as he enriches
himself and his high salaried under-bosses. In regard to the Soka Gakkai,
not just a few naive people are fooled but many millions of goodhearted
people, including rectors of universities and heads of states.
