Hehe. He said she said. Lets see the Great Man, sitting, lying, standing, or walking about. The teamsters president may say, I heard from Jimmy Hoffa yesterday. He told me personally that "the AFLCIO is strong and noble" and that "we should carry on the good fight" but does anyone except the most gullible really believe that Jimmy Hoffa said this and he is still alive? Show me some actual proof that Daisaku Ikeda is still alive and vibrant enough to write that memorial and I will retract this post.
My wife could call my clinic, tell them that I was not coming back and that we were leaving the state, I think that in many places, one is not declared dead after disappearing for seven years.
By the way. Today is his birthday. I think he could have at least waved to his millions of disciples, reassuring them he remains in good health. Do me a favor Israell, should I get run over by a semi tomorrow, don't tell anyone. Just continue to write posts for me and sign them with my name. I bet you could get away with it, no one knowing or revealing I was dead for for several years, maybe even a decade or more and all my wife would have to do is call all my friends to please keep my death a secret. Think how easy it would be if I were a billionaire and head of a nation [Soka nation] surrounded by obsequious, devious, and secretive people who stand to gain from prolonging the deception.
There was another "historic" grand opening ceremony Nov. 9, 2013, this time at the Great Hall for Kosen-Rufu in Shinanomachi, Japan. This new building was the subject of manic money-raising campaigns, and is the biggest new Soka Gakkai building since the Sho-Hondo. Ikeda should have been there, taking his accustomed place in the spotlight at center stage. Instead, a photo was released, purportedly showing him on Nov. 5, 2013, doing gongyo in an empty hall, with just a few male Gakkai leaders (behind him and to his left, 4 or 5 of them) and a few female Gakkai leaders (behind him and to his right, 5 or so, including Kaneko). It was from a pretty good distance - you could only see part of Ikeda's face, and he looked old and frail. It used to be see-able here: http://www.sgi-uk.info/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/sgi_e_bulletin_issue108.pdf. Not any more - that now returns a 404 - File Not Found error. In fact, that picture seems to have been scrubbed off the 'net. Was it such a clumsy photoshop that someone who looked closely (I didn't) could tell it wasn't real? The Soka Gakkai has been caught in any number of clumsy photoshops in the past, particularly with regard to their persistent attempts to defame Nichiren Shoshu high priest Nikken Abe.
IF Ikeda's still alive, he must be in pretty terrible shape if they won't allow the members to even *see* him any more! I wonder if his palsy has become so debilitating that he drools constantly. Or perhaps he's so demented that his behavior is embarrassing. Maybe he's decided he's a baboon and behaves accordingly! His baboonish behavior in Feb. 1993, at the LA General Conference or whatever it was - the video of THAT circus has also been scrubbed off the 'net. What's going on?

Ikeda has not been seen for 10 years (+\-) ? What happens when SGI members wake up and realize the betrayal ? Will they start with who has been writing for “Sensei”? Separately...Will they ever ask, “why are we raising all of these funds again”? I am anticipating a mass exodus from SGI to ....wherever .
Daisaku Ikeda's still alive, Mark.

Wahaha, sure he's alive! New parts of the historic fiction series "The New Human Revolution" keep coming out ...

With power and money, almost anything can be scrubbed from the net, I'm sure.
