One day SGI leaders and long time members are your comrades, your best friends, your confidants, your brothers and sisters, the next day, when you are found to have Stage III or IV colon cancer and dying in the VA, they are nowhere to be found. When you no longer have anything left to offer SGI, when you fail to resolve or cure a serious problem or disease expeditiously, you are thrown way like an orange peel.
