RULES FOR MEMBERS OF THE INSTITUTE
ARTICLE 1
- These Regulations concerning entry, exit, and the associative life of the faithful belonging to the Institute Italian Buddhist Soka Gakkai (center IBISG).
- The members are obliged to comply with these regulations as well, as far as concerns them, the other rules, statutes and regulations, which govern the life of the Institute.
- Who wants to join dell'IBISG is submitted by two or more members of the Institute, and delivery application for accession to the territorial structure referred to in Article 4, paragraph 4, of the Statute.
- With the entry in the records of the Institute can be delivered to the faithful the Gohonzon in foster care staff, in accordance with Article 3, paragraph 4, of the Statute.
- The members have the right to participate in the activities of the Institute.
- They shall undertake to observe the Statutes and the rules and regulations dell'IBISG, and to act within their ability to achieve the general aims of the Institute.
- The members all'IBISG have the right to withdraw from the Institute on the decision by letter to send to the structure to which they had applied for membership, or to the headquarters of the Institute. The output of the Institute is perfected when the recipient competent authority receives the letter of resignation of the person concerned.
- If a faithful return the Gohonzon because it has no intention to continue to practice, the institute will ask the person whether or not it intends to continue to think dell'IBISG.
- You will lose the status of faithful resignation or following expulsion referred to in article 5.
- In both cases, the projected responsible authority of the leaving shall remove the name from the register of members of the Institute, stating the reason, whether by resignation or expulsion.
- Who, for whatever reason, ceases to be part of the Institute is required to return the Gohonzon that had been entrusted.
ARTICLE 5
- You can take action against a faithful if you provide proof of the following behaviors: a) behavior is not respectful of the Gohonzon, b) the exploitation of belonging all'IBISG, or position of the Institute, for their own purposes, for example in order to borrow money, set up companies for profit, gain acceptance of a political nature, achieve advantages through psychological pressure, c) serious defamation of the Institute or of its faithful, d) serious and repeated breaches of statutory obligations and regulations .
- Since the measures are intended to stimulate thought and to ensure that people continue to profess their faith in the Institute, before making a decision it will occur with attention to the circumstances.
- In any case, the person to whom it intends to challenge inappropriate behavior needs to be heard.
- Competent to adopt the measures is the National Council of the Institute.
- The measures, to measure the severity of behaviors are: warning, suspension of not more than one year, or expulsion from the Institute.
This regulation becomes effective on March 6, 2010
