Question: What would you recommend that we study?
Answer: Anything and everything just like Nichiren: The various translations of the Lotus Sutra and writings of Nichiren; the various Buddhist commentaries; classical literature; science; current events; other religions and SGI/NST doctrines in order to refute them should the occasion arise.
Question: How long should one chant Daimoku daily during Gongyo (right now I am doing 15 minute sessions 2x a day with Gongyo and as much as possible throughout the day)?
Answer: We should chant until we feel joyful and as time allows.
Question: How should the teachings be applied today?
Answer: As Nichiren applied them in his day.
Question: How do I help and represent Nichiren and his way of life?
Answer: Become a disciple to whom Shakyamuni Buddha and Nichiren Daishonin would praise.
