The true may or may not be beneficial. The untrue can never be beneficial.

Herein lies the Buddha's wisdom. The Lotus Sutra is always true and always beneficial in this latter impoverished age [though not necessarily beneficial in the Former and Middle Days of the Buddha's Law]. The Soka Gakkai's teachings are untrue and therefore never beneficial, not in the past, the present, nor in the future.
