will I vote in the next presidential election? Probably not but my wife, an hispanic, is voting for Donald Trump

He will get, at least, one female hispanic vote! [and probably many more].

  1. I think my wife will vote for him because she is fed up with politicians and he will wipe ISIS off the map.

  2. Should he become president, I too believe that they will be squashed like the dirty filthy insects that they are. Unfortunately, these lowlife cowards will hide behind the children and the elderly and make it very difficult to for us to surgically strike them dead, the only way to rid the world of these vermin. In a sense, he will act as Wheel Turning King to make the world a safe place for the votaries of the Lotus Sutra [should he get elected].

    1. The Viet Nam draft dodger taking on ISIL, no surprises there! All potty talk to go with the lame walk.

  3. Christianity and secular humanism will have their day in the court of Emma but for now, SGI, Nichiren Shoshu, Nichiren Shu, and Islam should be their [the Buddhist Gods] first priority.

  4. You guys always argue about stuff that will never happen whether debating SGI openly about drought in CA or the Donald becoming president.

Kumbhanda demons - Heretical practitioners have deviated in their spiritual practice, so they are attached to the wrong kind of precepts. When we cling to deviant precepts, we see the wrong cause as the right cause and the wrong effect as the effect. Everything we do would be wrong and this would be the opposite of cultivating ourselves.

  5. Fine. Then go somewhere else to find the authentic teachings of Nichiren [if you can find such a place]. Bye.

    1. Donald Trump becoming president and defeating Islamic State is not authentic, but I think I understand your affinity with anyone who continues creating karma with his speech.

  7. I see. You don't like Donald Trump. You and 250,000,000 Americans. Anyway, I used his name and some thoughts on him to garner views. Got a problem with that? He might even sue me in small claims court for using his name without a license. Reality is he too is part of the problem but his stance on ISIS is correct. If you love ISIS so much, why don't you cross the Turkish Border and attempt to reason with them? You can talk about expedient means, Khumbanda demons, and how bad are we orthodox Nichiren Buddhists.

    1. if the opportunity comes, I will go to Jordan to aid refugees and share skillful means because that's what bodhisattvas do. They don't create more negative karma.
