This should make you happy Mark, that the SGI is becoming more like you everyday since they said that the Dai Gohonzon is fake and the latest from last week when Professor Miyata of Soka university an advisor of the Soka Gakkai study department announced that Nichiren is not the true Buddha but it's the Eternal Lord Shakyamuni Buddha

  2. Here is proof. If you have a Japanese friend, they will be able to translate this for you and verify what Koichi Miyata said about Nichiren no longer being the true Buddha because it doesn't say so in the Gosho.

    He agrees with Nichiren Shu that their is no evidence of the Dai Gohonzon and that it says in the Gosho that Nichiren always referred to Shakyamuni as the true Buddha

    A giant step for sure. However, the Nichiren Shu and to a lesser extent, the Honmon Butsuryu Shu believes in the Eternal Lord Shakyamuni Buddha and the Nichiren Shu is more heretical than the Nichiren Shoshu. They still have a long way to go.

      By the principle of "the closer the teaching is to the truth without actually being the truth".

      Sharing the platform with slanderers [belonging to a multitude of interfaith organizations]; separate enshrinement of deities; selling kito blessings; selling admission to the Nichiren ossuary; the primacy of the Dharma body; the priest layman master-disciple relationship; embracing Shingon temples... the list goes on and on.

    Once they start chanting to an authentic 10 world Nichiren inscribed Gohonzon , read the Lotus Sutra, and Nichirens Gosho's they will experience the joy of the Law and there will be no turning back.

    Koichi Miyata also read out Soka Gakkai's rule that all Nichiren's inscribed and transcribed Gohonzon's are the same and that Nichiren Shu's Gohonzon's aren't evil. There were in attendance at the meeting amidst the Gakkai clan were scholars and Nichiren Shu priests

    They know that Nichikan's Gohonzon isn't right and doesn't make sense because it was transcribed by a high priest of Nichiren Shoshu from the Dai Gohonzon that they say is fake. By denouncing Nichiren as the true Buddha they will be able to receive a new complete authentic 10 world Nichiren inscribed Gohonzon this time from Nichiren Shu instead of the 7 world Nichikan Gohonzon that they are currently stuck with
