One reason is SGI members do not have a valid Gohonzon. Therefore, they have no way to tap into the guidance and encouragement of the Original Buddha Shakyamuni, Nichiren Daishonin, and the Law. Another reason is to create uniformity in thinking and behavior. Still another reason is that the SGI needs to reinforce the SGI way since not ALL their teachings are found in the Lotus Sutra and Writings of Nichiren, let alone the authenticated writings. Lastly, it is the honey for the unpaid senior leader bees to feel important [power] since they aren't paid for their hard work.
This should make you happy Mark, that the SGI is becoming more like you everyday since they said that the Dai Gohonzon is fake and the latest from last week when Professor Miyata of Soka university an advisor of the Soka Gakkai study department announced that Nichiren is not the true Buddha but it's the Eternal Lord Shakyamuni Buddha
ReplyDeleteHere is proof. If you have a Japanese friend, they will be able to translate this for you and verify what Koichi Miyata said about Nichiren no longer being the true Buddha because it doesn't say so in the Gosho.

The way things are going the SGI in the way that the SGI are coming around to what you have been saying it may not be to long before they start to refer to you as President Rogow
Koichi Miyata also read Soka Gakkai's rule that all Nichiren's inscribed and transcribed Gohonzon's are the same and that Nichiren Shu's Gohonzon's aren't evil.
ReplyDeleteThey know that Nichikan's Gohonzon isn't right and that by denouncing Nichiren as the true Buddha they will be able to receive a new Gohonzon from Nichiren Shu
because they are in the business of manipulation which the lotus sutra censors. if they had any real faith they would feel deep shame.
