Disciples and believers of Nichiren

Those who protect his teachings for perpetuity are his most loyal disciples and believers. They who alter not a dot of the Lotus Sutra or writings of Nichiren may also be called the his true disciples and believers. Those who perform the forceful practices are they who understand the teachings. They who eschew interfaith, too can be considered disciples and believers of Nichiren. Whoever maintains their faith in the Lotus Sutra and who ceaselessly chants the Daimoku are the disciples and believers of Nichiren as are they who recite the 2nd and 16th Chapters of the Lotus Sutra every day. Those who never disgrace the Law and who refrain from slander are disciples and believers of Nichiren.
