David Hare Soka Gakkai life coach's teachings

Let the readers see whether his "teachings" are the Lotus Sutra Buddhism of Nichiren.

"How much will you love your life in 2014?" -- Dave Hare

“One’s body is insignificant while the Law is supreme. One should give one’s life in order to propagate the Law.” -- Nirvana Sutra

and

“We care nothing for our bodies or lives but are anxious only for the unsurpassed way.” -- Lotus Sutra

Admit it Dave, what you teach is not Buddhism. It is Ikedaism sprinkled with the Secret.

  1. Erm, Mark, where have I ever called myself a teacher? Please quote your source before randomly throwing labels around. As for The Secret, I’ve clearly outlined in my book how the LOA falls well short of the profundity taught by Nichiren (who was a teacher).

  2. Mark, why would you think ‘life coach’ and ‘teacher’ are synonymous? A cherry is a cherry, a peach is a peach, a teacher is a teacher and a coach is a coach. It’s that simple. Oh, and a moron is a moron...

  3. You are wrong about this too...Coach synonyms:"teacher, mentor, educator, trainer..." -- Thesaurus

Most of all, you are wrong about Soka Gakkai and Buddhism.
