  1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accenture

Soka Gakkai has paid hundreds of millions of dollars to this company for their consultation to find the best way for running an effective business. For example the idea of the 3 Presidents came from Accenture. Some of Accenture's employees are from Soka University. Once again the pigs have their noses deep in the trough and defecate upon the teachings Shakyamuni Buddha, Nichiren and all that is sacred

Shakyamuni Buddha is the Father and Nichiren Daishonin is the messenger.

The Daishonin is Bodhisattva Jogyo, disciple of the Eternal Original Buddha Shakyamuni.

"Since the Buddha of the Juryo chapter is revealed as the eternal Buddha, it follows that the great Bodhisattvas such as Monju and Miroku, and the great bodhisattvas from other realms are in fact disciples of Shakyamuni Buddha. If, among all the numerous sutras, this Juryo chapter should be lacking, it would be as though there were no sun and moon in the sky, no supreme ruler in the nation, no gems in the mountains and rivers, and no spirit in man. "(MW, V2, pg. 150)

"Since Sakyamuni Buddha is eternal and all other Buddhas in the universe are His manifestations, then those great bodhisattvas converted by manifested Buddhas are also disciples of Lord Sakyamuni Buddha. If the "Life Span of the Buddha" chapter had not been expounded, it would be like the sky without the sun and moon, a country without a king, mountains and rivers without gems, or a man without a soul." (Noppa, pg. 176, Kaimoku Sho)

"Thus it was revealed that Shakyamuni had long been the Buddha since the eternal past, and it became clear that various Buddhas in other worlds were all manifestations of Shakyamuni Buddha..[ ] now, however, as Shakyamuni was proved to be the Eternal Buddha, those Buddhas in the Flower Garland Sutra, or Buddhas in the Hodo, Hannya, or Great Sun Buddha sutras all became subordinates of Shakyamuni Buddha." (Kaimoku Sho, p. 174, translated by Kyotsu Hori, 1987)

BTW, here's the same quote, as translated by NSIC. Please note the differences:

"When Shakyamuni Buddha revealed that he had gained enlightenment in the far distant past and had since then been constantly in the world, it became apparent that all the other Buddhas were emanations of Shakyamuni....but now it becomes apparent that Vairocana Buddha of the Kegon Sutra and various Buddhas of the Hodo, Hannya and Dainichi sutras are in fact all followers of Shakyamuni Buddha." (MW V.2, p.149)

"Since Shakyamuni Buddha is eternal and all other Buddhas in the universe are His manifestations........" (Kaimoku Sho, translated by Kyotsu Hori, p.176).

"But now that it has become apparent that Shakyamuni Buddha attained enlightenment countless aeons ago,.......etc. (MW V.2, p. 151)

Not only is there no mention of Nichiren as "True" Buddha in the Kaimoku Sho but in the Kanjin Honzon Sho, translated by Kyotsu Hori, nowhere, does Nichiren mention that he is the "True" Buddha:

"...Shakyamuni Buddha, within our minds, is an ancient Buddha without beginning, manifesting Himself in three bodies, he attained Buddhahood in the eternal past......(ibid. P.94)

"Shakyamuni Buddha, the Lord-preacher of this pure land, has never died in the past, nor will he be born in the future. He exists forever, throughout the past, present and future." (P.100)

"Many wooden statues and portraits were made of Shakyamuni Buddha as He preached Hinayana and quasi-Mahayana sutras, but statues and portraits of the Eternal Shakyamuni Buddha revealed in the Juryo Chapter of the Lotus Sutra were never made. Now, in the beginning of Mappo, is it not the time that such statues and portraits are made?" (P.104)

The Hoon Sho (translated by Taikyo Yajima) states:

"All the people in Japan as well as the rest of the whole world should revere Lord Buddha Shakyamuni revealed in the essential section (honmon) of the Lotus Sutra as the object of worship (honzon)." (P. 198)

The Lotus Sutra itself states:

"For the sake of curing his children gone mad,
Though in reality he exists, yet he says he dies,
And there are none who can declare it is a vain lie;
I likewise am the Father of the World,
The One who saves from the various sufferings and travails.
Because the unenlightened worldlings are wrongheaded,
Though in reality I exist, I say I am extinguished;
because by seeing me constantly,
They would produce an arrogant and licentious mind,
Self abandoned, attached to the five desires,
And would fall among the Evil ways of rebirth.
I ever know the masses of beings,
Proceeding or not proceeeding on the Way;
According to what will save them,
I preach for them all sorts of Dharmas.
I Myself ever form this thought:
'By what shall I cause the masses of beings
To be able to enter the supreme Way
And rapidly achieve Buddhahood."(Lotus Sutra, Chapter 16)

Now we can begin to examine how Nichiren viewed himself.

"...the Bodhisattvas (who sprang from underneath the ground), as described in the 15th chapter, are followers of the Original Buddha Shakaymuni who resides within our minds."(p.94)

" The object of veneration (Honzon) at the scene of this transmission of Namu Myoho Renge Kyo from the Eternal Buddha to his original disciples is suspended in the sky above the Eternal Buddha Sakyamuni's Saha-world.

The Lotus Sutra, Chapter 16 states, "Then he sent a messenger back to his children, telling them that their father has passed away." In the Kanjin Honzon Sho, Nichiren explains the phrase: ''send a messenger back", as those bodhisattvas who were called out from underground.

The SGI and Nichiren Shoshu argue that Nichiren Daishonin states in the Opening of the Eyes that, "I will be the Pillar of Japan; I will be the Eyes of Japan; I will be the Great Vessel of Japan, proving that Nichiren possesses the Three Virtues of the Original Buddha. But this is a mistake for the following reasons:

1). It can be contrasted to the following passage in the Kaimoku Sho where Nichiren states that Shakyamuni possesses the Three Virtues for "all beings" : "One should know that the Enlightened One, the Buddha, is a Great Teacher for all living beings, a Great Eye for them, a Great Pillar, a Great Helmsman, a Great Field of Plenty." (MW vol 2, Opening of the Eyes, pg 77)

2). The above passage of the Lotus Sutra states: "I am the Father of the world" [not just the little island nation of Japan].

3). Nichiren in many other Gosho explains that Shakyamuni is the parent, teacher and sovereign of the entire world (Admonitions Against Slander, Letter to Nikke, Letter to Nichimyo Shonin, The Learned Doctor Shan-wu-wei, Letter to Myomitsu Shonin, Rebuking Slander of the Law, Letter to Ichinosawa Nyudo, On Prayer and others).

Now we can move on to some of the passages in both the Lotus Sutra and the writings of Nichiren revealing the Daishonin's true identity:

"I Nichiren, humble person though I am, have received Lord Shakyamuni's royal command and come to this country of Japan." (MW vol 5, The Pure and Far Reaching Voice, pg 143)

The Original Eternal Buddha has never received the royal command of anyone, he invokes them.

"Will the Bodhsattva Visista-caritra (Jogyo) appear in these days of the Latter Law to open wide the gateway of the Truth, or will he not appear? The Scripture tells us so; yet will it surely happen? Will the Bodhisattva appear or not? At any rate, I, Nichiren have now accomplished the pioneerwork." (Selection of the Time).

"For one aeon, two aeons, countless aeons I devoted myself to the practices of a bodhisattva, until I had almost reached the state where I couldn't never fail to attain Buddhahood. And yet I was dragged down by the powerful and overwhelming influence of evil, and I never attained Buddhahood. I do not know whether I belong to the third group of those who heard the preaching of the sons of Daitsu Buddha and yet failed to attain enlightenment even when one son was reborn in the world as Shakyamuni Buddha, or whether I faltered and fell away from the teachings which I heard long before Daitsu Buddha, at gohyaku jintengo and thus have been reborn in this form. (MW,V2, pg.112)

Moreover, I am a poor monk without social status. While having traversed the Six Realms in my past lives, I have sometimes been born a great king in the human or celestial realm, making everyone obey me just as a strong wind sways the twigs of small trees. Still, I could not attain Buddhahood then. At other times, I must have gone up step by step the way a great bodhisattva according to Hinayana and Mahayana sutras. Having practiced the way of a bodhisattva for as long as one, two and in numerous kalpa, I was about to reach the state of non-retrogression. However, a powerful, evil karma prevented me from obtaining Buddhahood.

According to the "Parable of a Magic City" chapter of the Lotus Sutra there were three categories of people who had an opportunity to listen to the sutra and sow the seed of Buddhahood during the time of Daitsuchisho Buddha in the past. They were all to attain Buddhahood eventually with the third and last group being guaranteed of being future Buddhas upon listening to Shakyamuni Buddha preach the Lotus Sutra. I wonder whether or not I was excluded from this third category of people. Or, am I one of those who, while having listened to the Lotus Sutra and sowed the seed of Buddhahood 500 dust-particle kalpa (gohyaku-jindengo) in the past, have kept falling back till today without eventually getting it? .. (Noppa, Kaimoku Sho, page 92-94)

"I Nichiren, received the Buddha's edict and was born in this land . ." (On Practicing According to the Preaching" (Nyosetsu shugyo sho STN, v. 1, 733 1, 2),

From Lotus Sutra Chapter 21:

Because, after the Buddha's extinction,
It is possible to possess this sutra,
The buddhas all rejoice
And show infinite powers divine.
Now that this sutra is entailed
To him who keeps it, let praise,
Through kalpas infinite,
Be inexhaustible.
The merits of this man
Shall be boundless and without end
As space in every direction,
Which cannot find a limit.
He who can keep this sutra
Is one who already beholds me
And also the Buddha Abundant Treasures,
And all buddhas emanated [from me],
And sees besides the bodhisattvas
Whom I have instructed until now.
He who can keep this sutra
Will cause me and the [buddhas] emanated from me,
And the Buddha Abundant Treasures in nirvana,
All of us entirely to rejoice;
And the buddhas now in the universe,
And those of the past and the future,
He shall also see and serve
And cause to rejoice.
The mysterious laws that have been attained
By the buddhas each on his wisdom throne,
He who can keep this sutra
Must surely gain ere long.
He who can keep this sutra
Shall the meaning of the laws,
With their terms and expressions,
Delightedly expound without end,
Like the wind in the sky,
Which never has impediment.
After the Tathagata is extinct [such a one],
Knowing [this] sutra that the Buddha has taught,
[Together with] its reasoning and process,
Shall expound it according to its true meaning.
Just as the light of the sun and moon
Can dispel the darkness,
So this man, working in the world,
Can disperse the gloom of the living
And cause numberless bodhisattvas
Finally to abide in the One-vehicle.
Therefore he who has wisdom,
Hearing the benefits of this merit,
After I am extinct,
Should receive and keep this sutra.
This man shall in the Way of the Buddha
Be fixed and have no doubts."

The Daishonin says:

" I Nichiren may be a fool, but, having declared myself to be the messenger of Shakyamuni Buddha and the Votary of the Lotus Sutra, it is nothing short  of amazing that my words go unheeded"-- Letter To Ichinosawa Nyudo,

"Until the envoy of the Buddha actually appeared to expound the Lotus Sutra... However, now that I am spreading the Lotus Sutra as the Buddha'senvoy , everyone -- from ruler to the lowliest subject-- has become a slanderer."---Letter to Niike).

and

I, Nichiren, may not be an envoy sent by the Buddha, but my appearance in this world coincides with the age of the Latter Day. Moreover, quite unexpectedly, I came to realize this teaching, which I now expound to prepare the way for a sage. (Letter to Misawa)

Graham Lamont writes:

In 1277 (the third year of the Kenji era) Nichiren Daishonin wrote a deposition on behalf of Shijo Kingo Yorimoto (the autograph no longer exists but TWO versions copied by Nikko still exist at the Omosu Hommonji (STN v.2, 1346, 1360 notes):

1) an unrevised version compiled in 1278 (the first year of Koan) with the title "On the Dialogue with Ryuzo" or RYUZO MONDO SHO.

2) a "revised version" from the fifth year of Showa (1316) when Nikko was seventy-one years old. Since Nikko's colophon says that he copied this from a "revised version" (saiji hon) it is probable that Nichiren Daishonin rewrote some of the passages some time after 1278.

It is instructive that Nikko would copy this later in his life as a message to his disciples that the revised version is definitive.

Let's look at the correct faith for a disciple of Nichiren:

"I believe it is preached in the HOKEKYO that His Reverence Nichiren Daishonin is the BODHISATTVA JOGYO, the messenger the Tathagata Shakya, Lord of the Three Worlds, Father and Mother of All Beings.“ (STN v.2 1358 and note 1). The capitalized part, the words THE BODHISATTVA JOGYO are in the revised edition.

Nichiren Daishonin himself went to the trouble of adding thewords "the Bodhisattva Jogyo" and even if Nikko, after the death of Nichiren, added those words, here and in the other revised sections, it shows that Nikko regarded Nichiren Daishonin as the bodhisattva Jogyo.

This is proof of how Nichiren Daishonin or, at the very least Nikko, saw the Daishonin's true identity. This identity, which he sometimes hid, was that of the Bodhisattva Jogyo not of the Buddha.

Further evidence is found in the Gosho, The Plots of the elder of Gokurakuji,", the account of the plot of Ryokanbo Nisho, against Nichiren Daishonin. The unrevised account refers to the attempt to kill Nichiren and to the obstacles to him and his disciples on Sado but says nothing about Nichiren Daishonin identity. However, in the REVISED EDITION of Nikko,  though not in Nichiren's hand, it states:

"Nichiren Daishonin, if it is as it is preached in the Sutra, is the Sage who is the Messenger of the Tathagata Who Attained in the Distant Past (kujo nyorai no onzukai), the Descent (suijaku) of the Bodhisattva Jogyo, the Practicer (gyoja) of the Original Doctrine (or Aspect - Hommon) of the Hokke, the Great Guiding Teacher of the fifth five hundred years" (STN v.2, 1352)

Why would Nichiren or Nikko include these words which clearly illustrate that Nichiren Daishonin is the emissary from the Eternal Buddha and the manifestation of Bodhisattva Jogyo, unless they were attempting to show that he actually is the Bodhisattva Jogyo sent by the Buddha Shakyamuni?

In the Minobu period letters, nowhere did Nichiren Daishonin feel himself to be the Buddha, although he is certain of his attainment of Buddhahood. Rather, as he had said in the treatise "On Practicing According to the Preaching" (Nyosetsu shugyo sho STN, v. 1, 733 1, 2), "I Nichiren, received the Buddha’s Proclamation and was born in this land." He also says he has engaged in his crusade of shakubuku "because theDecree of the Dharma King is difficult to defy." (ibid)

(Note that this Nyosetsu Shugyo Sho survives only in the manuscript of Nikko's disciple Tayu Nichizon (1265-1345), copied in 1297 (the fifth year of Einin).)

Now we can look at what Nikko's has to say:

"The Order of Spreading the Sutra in the Three Ages (Sanji gukyo shidai)(Nichirenshu shugku zensho, II, 53) specifically says:

"The Temple of the Hommon
The disciple of Entrustment
The Bodhisattva Jogyo Nichiren Daishonin."

It is clear that in the Original Doctrine (Hommon), the correct doctrine Nichiren Daishonin is considered the Manifestation of Jogyo, the Great Bodhisattva Converted by the Original Buddha, the disciple clearly delegated with the substance of the Sutra in the "Chapter of the Divine Powers of the Tathagatas" 21. This same work of Nikko refers to the Buddha Shakya Who Attained in the Past (Kujo no Shaka Butsu) the Supreme Enlightenment as the Object of Worship.

There is also proof to be found on a particular Gohonzon from 1274 (currently kept at Myohonji at Hota.) It is No. 16 in the Catalogue of the Gohonzon Collection (Yamanaka Kihachi, Nichiren Daishonin Shinseki no Sekai, p 323 and type B (II) 7 no. 13 in Nichiren Daishonin Mandara zushu, pp. 58-59) On it, in what is considered a "lauditary text", Nichiren writes:

"Since the entrance into Extinction of the Great Enlightened World Honored One there have passed in succession more than two thousand two hundred and twenty years. Even so among the Three Countries of India, Han (China) and Japan, there has not yet been this GREAT OBJECT OF WORSHIP (Dai Honzon). Either they have known but not yet spread it or they have not known it. Our Compassionate Father, by means of the Buddha Wisdom, has hidden and retained it, leaving it for the Latter Age. At the time of the last five hundred years, the Bodhisattva Jogyo comes forth in the world and for the first time spreads and proclaims it."

Nikken reveals the truth of the Seattle Incident

Mike: Aside from that, as I've said here time and again, and to which you've never reasonably responded, there exists in Nikko Shonin's own hand a transfer doc in which he passes on to Nichimoku Shonin the Dai-Gohonzon.
Mark: This was affirmed by whom, only the Nichiren Shoshu priests who won't let anyone else see them for independent analysis.
Seeker of the Way: I heard that Nichiren Shoshu is the secret sect of Nichiren's Buddhism. Do you practice any koans?
High Priest Nikken: We practice schwartzs not koans.
Seeker of the Way: Ok could you give me an example:
HP Nikken:  Whence the crocus wails will the transfer docs appear?
Seeker of the Way:  Thank you O Holy One. Now, could you give me an example of the Nichiren Shoshu mudras?"
HP Nikken: "The principle mudra in the Nichiren Shoshu tradition is the Mudra of the Middle Finger. It is symbolic of the feelings that Nichiu, Nichigen and Nichikan have for Nichiren Daishonin and the Law.
Seeker of the Way: That is truly profound O Teacher of Gods and Men. Are there any other secret teachings that you have not yet revealed?
HP Nikken: Only one.
Seeker of the Way: What might that be O Peerless Leader"
HP Nikken: I can not say.
Seeker of the Way: I beg you O Well Endowed One, please reveal that secret  teaching to me.
HP Nikken: Nope
Seeker of the Way (while genuflecting at the feet of Nikken): For the third time, I appeal to you, Understander Of The World, what is it?
HP Nikken: Ok peeon...., I mean bodhisattva, the greatest secret teaching of the Nichiren Shoshu, that which I and I alone am privy to.........., that which can be only fathomed between a Buddha and a Buddha........., the reason for my advent in this world........, the great secret of auspicious causation is............................................................

I WAS with that prostitute in Seattle.

The insane priest Nichikan says,"We chant the Daimoku to smash the Jiga-ge." Nichiren says...

"All the Buddhas in the universe attained Buddhahood with Jigage as their teacher. They are as parents of mankind. Those who now profess the Juryo Chapter of the Lotus Sutras will find the lives of all these Buddhas in their own. Can there be any Buddhas who will forsake believers in the Sutra, the Sutra which led them to Buddhahood?  If the Buddhas forsake them, then they in turn are discarding their own lives. Suppose there is a woman who bore and bred 3,000 strong warriors. A person who is inimical to her will be the common enemy of all her sons. Likewise, those who are opposed to the Jiga-ge of the Lotus Sutra will be the enemy of all the Buddhas.

All of the characters inscribed in the Lotus Sutra function as so many Buddhas. We common mortals, however, find them to be nothing but Chinese Characters. For example, hungry spirits, obsessed by the illusion that a large river is fire, can never assuage their thirst, common mortals see the river as the flow of water, while those in heaven regard it as celestial dew-drops. Water is one but appears in different ways according to the viewers.  Similarly, the blind cannot see the written characters of the Lotus Sutra, ordinary people see them as black, Bodhisattvas in a variety of colors, Arhats regard them merely as empty space, and those with the full-grown seed of Buddhahood see them as so many Buddhas. Then the Sutra reads, `One who embraces [this sutra] has the life of the Buddha."

"The Five Senior Priests conspired against the DaiGohonzon" -- Nichiren Shoshu member

How could they have conspired against the DaiGohonzon, it came into existence more than a hundred years after their deaths. Neither Nikko, Nichimoku, Nichigyo, nor Nichido ever mentions the DaiGohonzon and neither did the Five Senior Priests.

Oh...You believe the Ongi Kuden? Then believe this!

"[The object of worship of this devotion] are the Person and the Dharma. [Devotion to] the Person means devoting one's life to Sakyamuni Buddha...." (STN 3:2605-6)

They receive mid six figure salaries for entering the room of the Buddha, donning the robe of the Buddha, and taking the seat of the Buddha.

Julian: You wrote, "SGI has been taking a beating lately." Dream on Doc. We have lost nothing. We cannot be stopped.
Mark: You guys been getting whupped by everyone, even the Nichiren Shoshu.
Julian: Really. You have a quaint and naive belief in the power of the written word. There is no point in arguing with me about this as I am simply stating my opinion which, unless I am cheating, will always be different to yours.
Mark: Your Zen background is apparent. You should try to convert your Zen buddies on t.r.b. and alt. Zen instead of sucking up to them with Zen speak. Nichiren was a scriptural Buddhist. You are a Zenman in SGI clothing. It fits you well.
Julian: You won't recruit me and I doubt that your arguing  will win anyone else over.
Mark: You serve the purpose of the Buddha whether we convert you or not. By revealing the inconsistency in SGI teachings and your lack of knowledge of the Gosho and Lotus Sutra, many will convert. It is just a matter of time. We are patient.

Getting back to the discussion, the SGI members here are losing every debate, every point, and all credibility..
Julian: By what criteria do you judge? You do not appear to be objective.
Mark: The Three Proofs, Nichiren Daishonin's criteria.
Julian: But is there no better judge than you?
Mark: Has the SGI been winning any converts here? If so, let them speak up. I know that you have lost quite a few. I will name them if you like. It is actual proof.

The same fate [of losing the debates] would befall the top senior leaders were they to join the battle and they know it.
Julian: Equally as you would if you tried someone else's job.... like you have!
Mark: Please speak English. I don't get your point.
Julian: It is not the role of SGI leaders to participate on ARBN.
Mark: What chapter of the Lotus Sutra and passages of Gosho teach different roles for lay leaders and their members? There are passages that demonstrates that "leaders" [priests] are to take the lead in the forceful practices but your leaders are nowhere to be found.
Julian: There is nothing in the Lotus Sutra that sets in concrete the way that SGI should be run or organised.
Mark: Chapter 15 of the Lotus Sutra outlines the organization of the Bodhisattvas of the Earth..
Julian: The Lotus Sutra is not an organization manual (at least primarily) but a tool for attaining enlightenment. Why not use it as such.
Mark: Why not use it period. Why spend, 95% of your time on Ikeda's writings and 5% on the Lotus Sutra. Maybe the World Tribune is a better tool than the Lotus Sutra?

Your leaders are cowardly generals who remain behind, eating caviar and filet mignon, while sending the young men to the front lines to get slaughtered by the superior forces.
Julian: Speaking as a non-leader of SGI.... This is not true.
Mark: I could care less about your arbitrary Gakkai status. My assertion stands.
Julian: But you do care about peoples "arbitary Gakkai status."You keep going on about how the leaders are letting us down.
Mark: Mentioning it from time to time is going on? They are not only letting you down but the Law. They have sold out.
Julian: When I say going on I mean lying.
Mark: I am not lying about their mid-six figure salaries for doing the same job you do for free. What are they, accomplished writers, artists, athletes, or professionals? If you are blind to it you are a fool.
Julian: It is not possible for another person, SGI leader or anyone else, to let me down. The sort of thing is entirely my responsibility.
Mark: You are denying dependent origination. People are like sheep in this evil filled Latter Day. Animality is the rule. The autocracy of the SGI is a Machiavellian dream come true. They are the vilest sort of people that you are defending. They HAVE let you down.
Julian: Projecting again. Not so long ago, you would have been using leeches on people. Yuk. And a ripoff.
Mark: Plastic surgeons still use sterile leeches. There is no more sanitary and effective way to reduce facial swelling. Likewise, the forceful practices of the Lotus Sutra is the most effective way to reduce slander.

Discussion changed:

Mark: Nichiren lived and died a modest man.
Julian: Follow his example.
Mark: Materially he lived a modest life but spiritually he was the outspoken king of the Law. We inherit Nichiren's legacy and will never stop speaking out against SGI's mistaken views, teachings, and practices. If what I [or anyone] says is correct, it should be accepted. If wrong, it should be rejected. This is the modesty that derives from the Law. Since you have yet to prove me wrong, my views should be accepted.

Getting back to your top leaders. They are the worst types pf prevaricators, liars, self-serving hypocrites, materialists, and holier than though pompous fools.
Julian: And you have no humans in your group?
Mark: We have Buddhas and bodhisattvas in our group who would rather go hungry than enrich themselves at the expense of the Law and our fellow believers. Our masters are Shakyamuni Buddha and Nichiren Daishonin whose behavior was exemplary. Your leaders, especially the top Japanese leaders are shallow and crooked. They follow a man bereft of morals and ethics, let alone common decency.
Julian: This is a racist statement. You are distinguishing between people on a Race/Nationality basis.
Mark: No Julian. I am pointing out their tainted relationship with the Law. It is an argument of money and power corrupting an organization which calls itself "Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism". They receive mid six figure salaries for entering the room of the Buddha, donning the robe of the Buddha, and taking the seat of the Buddha. It is a great slander.

It is even more disgusting the way they sniff president Ikeda's behind as if it was tamilapada sandalwood as they laud it over the members. SGI is the World of Animality.
Julian: How much you on Doc?
Mark: Speak plainly Julian, I don't get your point.
Julian: Speaking plainly Doc. If you want it chant for it.
Mark: Oh, I forgot, you [Julian was a former Zen adherent] are speaking in a koan. I should have realized it. Since I am not a Zen Buddhist, you will have to solve your koan for me before I can respond.
Julian: What is the going rate for conning people about death?
Mark: I get it now, you can't respond to my points so you are attacking me, accusing me of being jealous of the Japanese senior leaders and criticizing me for using SGI leaders deaths to teach the Law. Interesting koan.
Julian: They have jobs to do. I haven't finished speaking with them [the leaders] yet.
Mark: You wouldn't speak frankly with them if they were your own father in law.
Julian: Please post some evidence of my communications with the SGI leaders. I, Julianlzb87 giving several opportunities for Doc to prove his point.
Mark: OK. Why don't you tell me what they said when you asked them where the members money goes and why their doctrines contradict the Lotus Sutra and Nichiren Daishonin? You can also ask them why the omnipotent mentor makes so many mistakes regarding the teachings.

"Since I an your leader, it is my duty to see to it that you will be happy...I know that other leaders are doing their best to give merciful and kind guidance, but their consideration for you is but a few hundredths of what I think of you. Their thoughtfulness is poles apart from mine. This is a strength which only I have, which no one else can imitate." (Daisaku Ikeda, Lectures on Buddhism, Vol. V, page 33)

good persons, evil persons, wise persons, and foolish ones,

"Answer: Small acts of goodness and small acts of evil differ from one another. But if people are guilty of slandering the Lotus Sutra, then good persons and evil persons, wise persons and foolish ones, are all in the same category. Therefore I say they are all uniformly destined to enter the Avīchi hell." -- Nichiren

Soka Gakkai's Human Revolution [Ningen Kakumai] is unbefitting the Bodhisattvas of the Earth

Human Revolution by definition ["change"] is acquired Enlightenment and falls within the provisional teachings or, at best, the theoretical teachings of the Lotus Sutra. Original Enlightenment or Namu Myoho renge kyo is the essential teachings of the Lotus Sutra. The teaching of Human Revolution neither suits the time nor the capacities of the Bodhisattvas of the Earth. It is unbefitting the original disciples of the Eternal Buddha, those who have been enlightened since the remotest past.

Ironically, Nichikan Shonin The Great Destroyer of Nichiren Buddhism wrote, "All righteousness will be proven". Point made

"If your Gohonzon is real, and ours is fake, then why do you treat yours with such indignity?" -- Craig Bratcher of the Nichiren Shoshu

Response: Do you mean like the indignity of the Nichiren Shoshu Soka Gakkai bestowing 560,000 Gohonzons to the faithless like free copies of the Village Voice, 525,000 of which were destroyed or forgotten in sock drawers? It is cause and effect. No power Gohonzons bestowed upon those with little faith end up in the garbage, in some old sock drawers, or ripped into little pieces and flushed down the toilet. This IS what happened to the Nichiren Shoshu/Soka Gakkai No-honzons which are neither endowed with the power of the Buddha nor the power of the Law.

Nichiren Hombutsuron [Nichiren as True and Original Buddha] doctrine.

There are several Japanese Buddhist sects that have fallen into Founder Worship. Within Nichiren Buddhism, the Taisekiji branch and it's offshoots have taken it up. This reflects a desire of some Japanese people to elevate their countrymen in status and to discard or demote anything not Japanese. This is the root source of the Fuji school's (SGI and NST) "Nichiren Hombutsuron" [Nichiren as True and Original Buddha] doctrine.

Founder Worship is a useful theology to employ if you are not particularly loyal to the teachings of the Patriarch, by giving the appearance of 'super loyalty' by making him personally the Honzon (the Principal to be venerated). This is not an authentic form of Nichiren Buddhism. Nichiren continually exhorted his followers to; "Follow the Dharma, not the Person."

"I, Nichiren have, indeed, written it by letting my soul (tamashi) dipped in ink flow forth"

He was indicating the importance of the Mandala, not vaguely hinting at some sort of "soul transference" into the Mandala. The exact word he used was"Tamashi". This indicated his oneness with the Object and that he was putting his full effort and idea into it. Another example would be when a Samurai puts his "Tamashi" into his sword. Taisekiji metaphysics needs to warp passages like this in order to find hints at their home made doctrines that do not actually exist in the Gosho when read in a normal manner.

Rejection of this Founder Worship model by no means is a rejection of Nichiren's Enlightenment. He surely manifested 'Soku Shin Jobutsu' (Enlightenment in this body) and revealed his most inner realizations in his writings while on Sado Island and later on Mt. Minobu. Here is what he wrote in the "Kaimoku Sho" on Sado Island while he was still uncertain of his survival. He called this text "his last will" if he should perish. It completely defeats (and even scolds) the Taiskeiji heresy. Here it is:

From the "Kai Moku Sho", written on Sado Island:

"The Kegon and Shingon Schools established Vairocana and the Great Sun Buddha instead of Sakyamuni Buddha as the object of worship respectively. It is like a king's son despising his father while respecting a nameless person who acts as though he were the King of the Dharma."

"The Pure Land School considers Amitabha Buddha, who is merely a manifestation of Sakyamuni in the Pure Land to the West, to be the lord of this world and abandons Sakyamuni, who is the real lord of this world. The Zen School, just like a lowly man with little virtue despising his parents, despises the Buddha and His sutras."

"They are all confused about the main object of worship. It is analogous to the situation before the time of the Three Emperors, when people did not know who their fathers were and behaved like beasts and birds. Those Buddhist schools which do not know the "The Life Span of the Buddha" chapter are the same as beasts and birds; they do not know the debt they owe to the Eternal Buddha. Grand Master Miao-le declared; Eternity in the life of the Buddha, who is our parent, has not been revealed in the pre-Lotus sutras. If one does not know the eternity in the life of his father, the Buddha, he is also confused about the Buddha land his father governs. Such a man, no matter how capable he may be, is not at all worthy of a human."

"Grand Master Miao-le was a man of the T'ien-pao Period toward the end of the T'ang China. Having widely read and deeply contemplated canons of the Sanlun (Sanron), Hua-yen (Kegon), Fa-hsiang (Hosso), and Chen-yen (Shingon) Schools, he concluded that those who do not know the Original Buddha revealed in the"The Life Span of the Buddha" chapter are like "beasts and birds", who may be talented but do not know of the land governed by the father. "No matter how capable he may be" refers to men like Fa-ts'ang and Ch'eng-kuan of the Hua-yen(Kegon) School and Venerable Subhakarasimha (Shan-wu-wei) of the Chen-yen (Shingon) School, who were men of talent but, like children who do not know their father, did not know of the true and eternal Sakyamuni Buddha."

SGI resignation letter

SGI-USA Membership Department
National Headquarters
606 Wilshire Blvd.
Santa Monica, CA 90401

To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is my formal resignation from the Soka Gakkai International and any related affiliates. It is effective as of the date of this letter. I hereby withdraw my consent to being regarded as a member and I withdraw my consent to being subject to organization rules, policies, beliefs and "discipline." As I am no longer a member, I want my name permanently and completely removed from all records of the organization. I also hereby cancel my subscriptions, and receipt of such (in either hard copy or electronic format) will be considered unwanted contact. There will be a grace period of ten (10) days to allow for removal from subscription lists.

I have given this matter considerable thought. I understand what you consider the seriousness and consequences of my actions.

My resignation should be processed immediately, without any waiting periods. I will not be dissuaded, and I am not going to change my mind.

I expect this matter to be handled promptly, with respect.

As of the date of this letter, the only contact I require from the organization is a letter of confirmation to let me know that I am no longer listed as a member.

My resignation is not based on a personality conflict with any member or leader, but completely grounded in recruitment methods, widely-spread disinformation about Buddhism, the near-deification of Mr. Ikeda and the organizationally-sanctioned underhanded behavior of leadership towards members.

Sincerely,

Three decades of SGI experience

Don't chant for me SGI.

I don't want the same thing to happen to me as happened to the Sho Hondo, Ikeda's first born son, and the many sons and daughters of top SGI-USA senior leaders. There is absolutely no benefit, only punishment, in chanting SGI's truncated Daimoku to a Nichikan no-Honzon with faith in Daisaku Ikeda rather than Shakyamuni Buddha.

How can we come to know what Nichiren actually believed and taught?

There are certain approaches that can aid one: Is it in Nichiren's hand, signed and stamped?; are they in one or the other of the earliest collections of Gosho?; congruence with the content and principles espoused with respect to the period in which Nichiren taught [the stage of development of Nichiren's teachings]; are there citations, principles, or events in the Gosho from a time after Nichiren's death?; comparing content of Gosho to the Five Major Works and the entire body of authenticated [in Nichiren's hand] works; computer or reasoned analysis of writing style and the words contained in the Gosho [again, comparing Gosho written in Nichiren's hand to the Gosho in question]; and the approach of textual parsimony [limiting ourselves to Gosho in Nichiren's hand] and weighing Gosho according to profundity and the preponderance of established concepts.

A lesser criteria: That which the vast majority of priests and scholars have deemed authentic or one particularly learned priest or scholar.

Soka Gakkai propaganda learned from North Korea?

"We will never advertise on TV. Soka Gakkai is only spread life to life" -- Josei Toda

Don't confuse SGI New Age with the Lotus Sutra Buddhism of Nichiren Daishonin.

No where in the writings of Nichiren Daishonin is confidence [as in self confidence] mentioned. On the other hand, SGI and all New Age teachings stress confidence ["self confidence"]. Nichiren stresses faith which he discusses more than five hundred times. True confidence is faith in the Law, the Buddha, the True Votary of the Lotus Sutra, universal Buddha-nature, and the eternal nature of our lives.
