How much Daimoku to chant; which Gohonzon to utilize; whether or not to have a statue of Shakyamuni Buddha and/or Nichiren Daishonion; how many times a day to recite the 2nd and 16th Chapters of the Sutra; whether to recite the Lotus Sutra in English or Sino-Japanese; whether to perform the peaceful and/or forceful practices of the Lotus Sutra; whether or not to donate financially; what to read [other than the Lotus Sutra and writings of Nichiren Daishonin]; whether to hold or participate in meetings, or not... is up to the individual. Our politics too, are far more diverse than that found among Soka Gakkai members.
