"Ikeda Worship? I've Never Ever Heard of That!" -- SGI Andrea

  1. "one should not be intimidated by the fact that so many hold such beliefs. nor does the truth of a belief depend on whether it has been held for a long or short time. the point is simply whether or not it conforms with the text of the scriptures and with reason".(wnd168-69)

the sgi and others are mistaken.

    1. Very non-partisan response Romero. I agree but will have to add that it is easy to listen to the rhetoric and not realize what is actually being 'fed' into the system without explanation. The next thing a believer is into an agreement of defense of someone without ever rationally accepting that part as faith. It happens all the time

  3. I like the first pic. You see, in the previous ages, everyone followed a leader and didn't become Buddha themself. Then things changed and women started coming around and became Buddha's too. Not to say a woman who sits six feet behind her hubby isn't a Buddha, but what does it teach the YWD? That women are below men? Well, personally I think a partnership is in order, and I can't seem to find an SGI partner. Should I feel bad? LOL

  4. Mr. Rogow, this does not mean I side with the KHS when that is such an "in depth" situation I know little about. I chant with the Buddhas. To some degree I am Buddha. I don't think groveling to some ORG. is what I am supposed to do with my life! So, with that said, I am going back to "my slander" since you said that's what I do. I call it chanting. Whether you chant to a __________ or a _________ as long as Nichiren handed it down, I respect it! So...TATA

    And have a good evening..

  5. Hi Dee. I will gladly sit 6 feet behind you when you lead Gongyo [as long as it is to a Nichiren Gohonzon.

  6. Mr. Rogow,

I don't think I will be leading any Gongyo's in this lifetime. However, after you called me mentally sick, I don't think I see your point? You need to learn to respect some Nichiren members. So, thanks, but I am already in very good company, and frankly I somehow doubt this vote of :::::clears throat::: confidence is genuine.

  9. Mr. Rogow, since you too have a copy of a Gohonzon since you too left NSA years ago, why tell any SGI members that their SGI Gohonzon is invalid? Why single anyone else with a Gohonzon that didn't come from NST? So, what personal reasons do you have for your anger at the SGI?

Look, I don't go to SGI meetings like you are accusing me of. I doubt your situation is at all like mine. I have had to put up with mental harassment and violence where I worked, practiced and lived since 1992. What could you possibly help me with regarding that situation?

You wouldn't back me up when I was in need of it. If I need your help I will call, but don't hold your breath. I have managed to live this long by myself, and if I don't survive at least I will be be in good company with people I do think are great people. So, you can keep your "deliverance" of my soul!

  10. Hi Dee. if 15 years ago [or 5 years ago, or whenever], I did call you mentally sick [for remaining an SGI member], I apologize. I too was sick. Glad you and I are no longer mentally sick. Let us help those in SGI who remain sick.

  11. I have a Gohonzon of a votary of the Lotus Sutra, the True Votary. SGI members have a Gohonzon of one of the greatest destroyers of Buddhism in the history of mankind. How can a Nichikan Gohonzon be valid by the principles of Shiki Shin Funi and Esho Funi?
