I didn't know the history of the White Lotus Gohonzon and couldn't find it on the 123 Mandala list of Nichiren's Gohonzons was because it was a transcription Nichiren's Gohonzon that had the same inscription date on it. http://juhoukai.la.coocan.jp/mandara/105.html that was inscribed Koan 4 April 5th 1281 which is one the many Koan Era Full Ten Worlds Expanded Style’ Gohonzons!
    This has been a great break through for me as I was frustrated of the mystery of the White Lotus Gohonzon's identity as there have been so many claims made about it been inscribed by Nichiren!

    1. In this sense, transcription means a copy of an inscribed Nichiren Gohonzon. Most priests and scolars believe that this Gohonzon was inscribed by Nichiren although it is not in the Gohonzon Shu book of Gohonzons inscrobed by Nichiren.
