"The Gosho Zenshu is a translation into modern Japanses of Nichiren's writings. The introduction to Volume One states, "It has at time been deemed advisable to expand the wording of the original in translation in order to make the meaning clear in English." The NSIC translations, according to Yampolsky, were made directly from the Gosho Zenshu and no effort was made to reconcile the differences between the SGI interpretation and those of the other sects. In other words, this is a version expanded to fit the interpretations of Nichiren's writings adopted by the SGI." -- Petry
The Gosho Zenshu is an adulterated Gosho. Please keep in mind that the SGI Major Works and Writings of Nichiren Daishonin are translations of translations.
