Some may think that the Original and True Buddha is the same thing and that semantics are unimportant.
Semantics are not a trivial thing. There is something called Neuro-Linguistic programming. It is a kind of therapy based on Ericsonian hypnosis. Many of their techniques deal with the manipulation of the subconscious through the use of semantics (thus the title) The techniques are extermely powerful and can even be used to manipulate people in a negative way.
The whole concept of the "True Buddha" is, IMO, had been originated by Taisekiji priests for the purpose of manipulation. For instance, the opposite of "True" is "False". "True Buddhism" or "True Buddha", directs one's point of view in a certain manner and creates a subconscious barrier that rejects everything that is perceived as "not True". Therefore the dislike for Shakyamuni by Nichiren Shoshu and SGI followers because he is *subconsciously* perceived to be a "False Buddha".
methinx, U R being manipulated
just a thought, Bo
