Before Shakyamuni passed into Nirvana he refused to appoint a successor, Nichiren asked six priests to carry on propagation, no leader was appointed, face the facts, all the sects today appointed themselves as the leader. Take away the sects and you have a bunch of priests out of business, and disband the SGI and you have Mitsubishi Buddhists in the unemployment line." -- Former KHS believer
