Some Nichiren groups incorporate popular superstitions, fortune telling, and Guru worship into their practices. This is not found in the teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha, Nichiren, nor in the Lotus Sutra. Therefore, those sects in which such practices are found are not Nichiren Buddhist organizations.
