Mappo isn't going away anytime soon. Nichiren Daishonin, were he with us today, would be the same Nichiren he was in 13th century Japan, only more knowledgeable about science and western religion. He would have plenty to criticize. Many Nichiren priests and laymen would be reduced to tears.
