Nichiren teaches, not even to seek "some measure of worldly fame and profit" but SGI teaches and acts as if worldly fame and profit is EVERYTHING. I can not denounce them enough.
How many honors and awards does Daisaku Ikeda possess? How many billions of dollars does he have? Is there a Buddhist, save for the Dalai Lama, more famous than he? Are you telling me he never sought wealth and fame? Are you saying he cringes when he is offered those honors and awards from slanderers, those photo ops, those videos of him? Are you saying they he gives 98% [8.82 billion dollars] of his wealth, his royalties and capital gains to charity? Does he really need 9 billion dollars to live? Shakyamuni Buddha was a prince who gave up all his worldly possessions. Nichiren lived in a hut for most of his life. Follow the Law and not persons.
