SGI's warped selective tolerance is based on the Worlds of Animality and Anger and on the lower ego. The absolute exclusivity of the Nichiren faith, on the other hand, is based on the Lotus Sutra teachings of Nichiren, the compassionate Worlds of Bodhisattva and Buddha, and the higher ego. In SGI those who criticize SGI are fair game while those who praise SGI, regardless of their beliefs or doctrinal underpinnings, are accepted.
