This is little different than the Shingon worship of the Dharma Body of the Budda [if it were true that SGI worship the life state of the Buddha]. Who they really worship is the flesh and blood Daisaku Ikeda. Shakyamuni Buddha of the Original Doctrine, the Three Bodied Tathagata too, is flesh and blood but unlike Daisaku Ikeda, he is one with the Law.
