A statement that shoild be met with universsl agreement with all who are in knowledge of the subject, this is the crux, this is the litmus test. To not agree on this point is to create a brand new religion by your own authority. Obviously SGI has created something different, do they know that? A question I can't answer.
Hi Phillip. They know it but acknowledgement of the fact has been suppressed. For a short period of time in 2013, Greg Martin spoke about SGI Buddhism and contrasted it with Nichiren Buddhism but then never again spoke about it.
I suspect Greg kept his mouth shut because he was revealing the *NEW* religion SGI claimed on its application for tax exempt status -- THIS information is available to the public, while their financial dealings are not.
Just go to irs.gov website and download a copy of the application for receiving this information: 4506-A
It may take up to 60days to receive the information-- that Greg Martin was too careless to realize is the single most incriminating bit of evidence that SGI is indeed a heretical sect--
Here is the link for instructions for filing request for the *apllication* for tax exempt status:
https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i4506a.pdf
this link is the actual form:
https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506a.pdf
They appear to e the same-- however, I emailed the links to myself and opened them-- to verify. i have both the instructions and the application saved in bookmarks--
Thanks, Greg-- I am reluctant to post the SGI USA tax exempt status application-- because there are stipulations regarding how this information will be used. I indicated it was my "personal"request -- but no reason why others can't make the same *personal* request...
I have some concerns about the possibility of SGI taking legal action on *copyright infringement* regarding the excerpts from "Buddhism in Action" that Mudpie/iainx published on ARBN-- SGI's highly paid team of lawyers are a predatory group. to be sure.
It's so easy to obtain the goods on Ikeda's made up religion-- - It's doubtful SGI can buy their way out of this exposure-- but I wouldn't put it past them to try-- :-)
More like "Buddhism INACTION" -- When the three members of my *disbanded* district were invited to have dialogue with the Region board in 1999-- the only *books* that were as big a threat to them as the Gosho were the "Buddhism in Action" series-LOL !! Actually they refused to engage around *study material* claiming we were not capable of *correct interpretations* so the *dialogues* were an extended lecture series on the ultimate authority of the LEADERS whom we should SUPPORT no matter what--. Big surprise .
I am guessing about Mudpie being cited for copyright infringement-- especially since SGI USA WD region leader confirmed that getting rid of B.I.A was recommended-- for obvious reasons pointed out eloquently by *iainx* on arbn -- Big threat-- also pointed out in detail by iainx. --
If SGI is going after Mudpie on this I hope the *breaking news* is published here first!
Maybe I'll post the tutorial on getting the goods on Ikeda's NEW religion on arbn-- This is no time to be cowardly....
"On Establishing the Correct Teaching for the Peace of the Land" (WND Vol. 1, p. 15)
Nichiren writes: "How pitiful to think that, in the space of a few decades, hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands of people have been deluded by these devilish teachings and in so many cases confused as to the true teachings of Buddhism. If people favor what is only incidental and forget what is primary, can the benevolent deities be anything but angry ? If people cast aside what is perfect and take up what is biased, can the world escape the plots of demons? Rather than offering up ten thousand prayers for remedy, it would be better simply to outlaw this one evil."
In addition to deluding the members, SGI USA has become wealthy and powerful exploiting their tax exempt status in the U.S.-- In other words, even those of us who would never follow SGikeda's NEW teachings, are paying taxes , supporting an organization who does not contribute a penny toward the maintenance of our infrastructure , or services for those in need. Unbeknownst to *the people* , we are complicit in the slander of SGI-USA. We are, in effect, *giving alms* to slanderers-- which happens to be something we COULD remedy.
Is there any doubt that "the plots of demons" are unfolding before our eyes? Without infringing on the freedom to practice the religion of one's choosing , we can and SHOULD revoke the tax exempt status of the SGI-USA.
