Suffice it to say that, almost exclusiely, John employs texts that are inauthenticated in his argument for Original Enlightenment. Utilizing, for example, the Five Major Writings and the myriad authenticated texts, it would be impossible to make his argument of innate, original, eternal Buddhahood. The authenticated texts assert that Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo is ceded to us by the Buddha whether in the remote past or the here and now.
