Nichiren speaking to his disciple, Shijo Kingo:
"You must not give your estate a second thought*. As I have said before, be millions of times more careful than ever.
Since childhood, I, Nichiren, have never prayed for the secular things of this life but have single-mindedly sought to become a Buddha."
Because after Shijo Kingo dies it will go to others, anyway
