My Hosshaku Kempon was: Despite losing my kidneys and dying three times, being able to lead a full and vibrant life, caring for my patients, my family, and protecting the teachings of Nichiren Daishonin. I owe everything to Namu Myoho renge kyo, the Gohonzon, Nichiren Daishonin and my deceased parents.
I am now certain, in no small part, thanks to me and others, that the Soka Gakkai will, in the not too distant future, embrace the authentic teachings and doctrines of Nichiren. They will chant Namu Myoho renge kyo along with their brothers around the world and will revere the Original Eternal Buddha as did Nichiren. Proof of what I say is the glimmer of wisdom of Daisaku Ikeda in his essay, Space and Eternal Life in which he acknowledges Shakyamuni Buddha of the Juryo Chapter of the Lotus Sutra as the Original Eternal Buddha. They too will come to realize the superiority of chanting Namu Myoho renge kyo (rather than Nam Myoho renge kyo) in order to realize the unity of the Nichiren school.
The Nichiren Shu, Nichiren Shoshu, and the Kempon Hokke, on the other hand, have been slandering the teachings for hundreds of years (and the Honmon Butsuryu Shu since 1857). For this reason, for them to fully reform their tenets, doctrines, and practices, it will take longer, perhaps centuries. Nichiren teaches that Namu Myoho renge kyo will spread for ten thousand years and more, for all eternity. Similarly, a correct faith in the Lotus Sutra (Myoho renge kyo) and Shakyamuni Buddha will spread for ten thousand years and more, for all eternity. I will now devote the rest of my life to refuting this group of heretics, having the wisdom "to differentiate correctly between their doctrines and the teachings that Nichiren spreads."
Simultaneously, I will continue to remonstrate with the ruler (whomever it may be). Until the ruler chants Namu Myoho renge kyo there will never be peace and security in the nation and in the world.
