Nichiren teaches:
"Those that I call correct and good teachers are persons who take Shakyamuni Buddha’s golden words to mean just what they say, namely, that the other sutras represent expedient means and the Lotus Sutra represents the truth."
I know that Greg, Katie, One Myo SunLotus, Anthony Elmore, many others, and myself would have confronted the Shingon Priest about his false beliefs and the people he deluded through Shingon's perverse teachings. But not the Nichiren Shu priests. No, not them, they who regaled the opening of his temple and were brazen enough to do so with a commemorative photo. Please do me a favor, take anything they say about Nichiren's Lotus Sutra Buddhism (except "chant Namu Myoho renge kyo") with a grain of salt.
