The SGI and the Five Senior Priests destroyed the teachings and their members

In order to protect their members from persecution they altered and compromised the teachings. For example, SGI, interfaith compromises the teachings while, from a most superficial perspective, it "protects" the members from the Muslim governments of Malaysia and Indonesia and the Catholics in Italy. The Five Senior Priests called themselves Tientai priests to avoid persecution against Nichiren believers. Unfortunately, not only did they destroy the teachings but they destroyed their members ability to develop the hearts of lions through persecution.
