Nichiren, one man alone, prayed to Bodhisattva Space Treasury as he wrapped a vow around the statue's hand, saving Seichoji temple from the clutches of a fierce Nembutsu warrior. Twelve million Soka Gakkai members chanted literally trillions of Daimoku with their vow on every altar to save the Sho Hondo. Yet, the Sho Hondo become dust. Nichiren teaches, "if you can't cross a moat three feet wide, how can you hope to cross the great ocean of life and death." Follow Nichiren Daishonin and you will be able to cross the great ocean of life and death. Follow the Soka Gakkai and their Sensei and you will not even be able to cross a shallow moat.
