Gohonzon

Every being, sentient or insentient, contains the Ten Worlds. Please don't ask me how plants and rocks contain the Ten Worlds because I would have to heavily quote Nichiren. Leaving that aside for moment, lets assume that this is true. Then Gohonzon, as in human beings, goes through various worlds from moment to moment but has one or several worlds to which it habitually returns far more often than other worlds. The Gohonzon habitually and overridingly returns to the World of Buddhahood (just like the Buddha). That is why we benefit chanting to that object, thanks to its powers of the Buddha and the Law. Of course, it contains the 9 lower samsaric worlds also but its predominate world is the World of Buddhahood."

  1. I was friends with a transexual medical doctor at the dialysis hospital on the Lakota reservation, at rosebud south Dakota. She is a very fine person and, beautiful . The only thing that gives her away is how tall she is and how much she can bench press

  5. My ex Japanese wife is 5 foot 5 inches 125 lbs. She is a black belt. She is an SGI group leader. She works out every day. She chants a lot. She still looks good at 60. She is very determined. I think she has pcos. I can beat her at tennis but, she broke my ear drum once and knocked me out She also gives way too much money to SGI. I respect her but, I will never piss off that bitch off again. I will never be around her, when she is in an extremely bad mood, no matter how much she chants

  6. Sorry to hear that. I have noted in more than several posts that, instead of elevating their life condition to the Four Noble Paths (Learning or Shomon or Arhat, Self realization or Engaku or Pratyekkabuddha, Bodhisattva, and Buddha), they reside in the Four Evil Paths (Hell, Avarice, Animality and Asuras (or Anger, thinking they are better than others).

  7. Mostly we don't judge people. We are not pajorative. We avoid trouble. Pcos, dementia , avarice greed , lack of self awareness , ego lead to trouble for others. No one wants to be caught in the crossfire

  8. Yes. Despite SGI's billions which they utilize deftly for public relations, they have a greater than 90% attrition rate in the United States. The SGI members, from the hundreds of ex-members testimonials confirms that the crossfire of their relationships is ugly. Is it too late for you to get out?

  9. Above, I am not talking about the Nichikan No-Honzon (Nichikan Gohonzon). I am referring to a the Nichiren Gohonzon and its copies.
