I have debated and refuted Safwan in several debates, on the old Yahoo Groups as well as here. Never did he come back to the Eagle Peak Blog. He does however continue to lie that SGI is Nichiren Buddhism. Rather, SGI is Ikedaism or the Ikeda sect which has bastardized Nichiren's Lotus Sutra Buddhism.

ReplyDeleteI was at the post office last week A 62 yo woman claimed to be a nurse, at the post office.
She said, she does not have to wear a mask because, the doctor says it causes her to breath in and out, her own germs.
I said you are no nurse. You are a person, that sits around and watches, Murdoch's fox news, all day, in the usa and wishes you were a comedian.
She said, that covid and climate change are hoaxes and, there are too many people in the world anyway..
I asked the woman where she went to nursing school. " Did you go to nursing school at Madame Tusseaus, House of Horrors and wax museum,?" I asked.
She said curtly, No I went to Liberty U, Mr. smarty pants
"I asked her how she liberates her patients, with poisons or scalpels?"
She then said
"You really must have a sense of humor, to be a good nurse, like me,
I went to a church nursing school."
I said , "You went be one of those four hatted nursing schools, didn't you!"
She said, she does her jobs, quite competently
You must take your job very seriously , especially with the parts using physical humor, because, you always end up killing everyone in the doctors office .
She said Liberty u, is a jack of all trades nursing school, where nurses are taught to lure in potential victims, makes em laugh, administer last rights, then stab em and slab em.
I'm not surprised. Here in Bible Belt Oklahoma, 90% of those who refuse the vaccine (60% of the populace), are devout Christians.

Nichiren claimed exactly the same thing about his disciples being protected in the epidemic. I stand by my assertion that if one practices correctly one is protected. Perhaps you lack faith in the Lotus Sutra and Nichiren's teachings?
Deletethose who chant the Daimoku without affectation or false doctrines are, for the most part protected. Do you doubt the Lotus Sutra and Nichiren's promise.
ReplyDeleteActually, Nichiren noted his disciples and followers had a "lower rate" of dire consequences from an epidemic-- He did NOT advocate "chanting daimoku" as "prevention"-- when certainly, it only stands to reason that protecting one's own health and the health of others is based on safe, reasonable practices.
ReplyDeleteWhen the leading infectious disease experts warned against gatherings with those outside of our household, in confined spaces were high risk for transmission of Covid 19. Chanting in a confined space? Seems like a no brainer--NOT safe!
I would add that having faith in Nichiren's teachings means relying solely on them and consistently reading Nichiren's writings. I cannot fathom how you have arrived at your "proclamations", which don't correlate with either Nichiren's actual words, or reason itself. And you are a doctor? All the more cause for alarm!
You lack faith and are unlearned. Things will not go well for you if you don't stop slandering a votary.
