Bill Aiken is a reliable source? Ikeda hasn't been seen in public for 11 years. I suggest you check the well researched SGIwhistleblowers regarding the fate of Ikeda. SGI leader "eyewitness accounts" are as unreliable as Russian TV, CNN, or Fox News. One thing is sure, Ikeda's SGI ghostwriters are busy bees.

ReplyDelete- I have trusted personal friends who are reliable sources-- but am not so concerned about whether or not your theory that Ikeda has passed away is true, but take issue with the glee you express at the prospect of his death.
You said Bill Aiken is your "facebook friend"- wonder if he knows what that means? Wonder if you know what it says about you to use any proof of "affiliation" as grounds for character aspersions?
How many of Ikeda's works (whoever wrote them) have you read? Regarding the content, I know them and books on Makiguchi's education theories to be interesting and informative-- I can make the distinction between content and author-- employ means to mine for truth and value- .
Totally against book banning and all attempts to influence a reader from making their own conclusions about content.
Gen Z is better equipped to spot and ignore disinformation than boomers, by far! You should by all means, try to learn from youth!

I have merely read hundreds of Ikeda's writings, including his banal Human Revolution, and all 24? volumes of his New Human Revolution. This is not to mention the thousands of daily guidance BS about "brushing your teeth", his other aphorisms and his yearly peace proposals. Anyway, I am not gleeful at Ikeda's death. I am gleeful that the SGI continues to lie about Ikeda's condition and their insistence that he (and not his dozens of ghostwriters, are writing his latest peace proposals, and "encouragement" to hi believers. It would be better that Putin is dead and even better (if we are to believe Nichiren) that a slanderer su8ch as Ikeda would be dead.
