You have quite a collection, a literal montage of what you pose as damning evidence of SGI - all members, I presume you are attacking ? But you are adverse to hearing from members that have no knowledge of your references. Which means, you are wrong about these “points” being the focus of activities and practice as a community of believers. How can you insist otherwise when you are long gone from SGI? Some of your claims - like early deaths of top leaders children, is new to me, but then Shijo Kingo lost his infant daughter, and then there was Shiro Goro, so I think you might want to reconsider connecting such tragic events to “ wrong headed faith”.

As for calamities, you might want to read about omens in the Gosho. Not a cut and dried phenomena- so much we cannot begin to comprehend. And since there is so much animosity towards us from fellow believers, like you and other sects, it is possible that slander ( see above passage) is the cause for disasters, etc. we aren’t bad people, mark . you are criticized both from Nichiren’s own words and your refusal to treat us respectfully , especially when it comes to correcting your broad generalizations and personal animus shown to us- broadcasting our names with your deeply troubling insults. Please reflect on the above very basic tenant that all of us should always bear in mind. - Tanya

Mark: .....IS ALL DAIMOKU EQUAL? ACCORDING TO NICHIREN, IT IS NOT... "How great is the difference between the blessings received when a sage chants the daimoku and the blessings received when we chant it" to reply, one is in no way superior to the other. the gold that a fool possesses is no different from the gold that a wise man possesses; a fire made by a fool is the same as a fire made by a wise man. HOWEVER, there is a difference if one chants the daimoku while acting against the intent of this sutra".

Those men and women cited by Nichiren are 1). Neophyte Bodhisattvas, they who know no better 2). Soka Gakkai (and NST) leaders and priests are those who go against the intent of the Sutra. 3). Nichiren is talking about the provisional Buddhist scholars and priests who make trouble for those who chant the Daimoku, not his disciples and believers who correct wrong thought. As I have said dozens of times, my criticisms of the Soka Gakkai are the members and leaders practicing for years, not those beginning the practice who know no better.

And, in the Shoshinkai, which consists of ex-priests of Nichiren Shoshu , and the portions of the sutra they recite and the daimoku that they chant are identical to the practice we observe. Though their religion may seem the same as ours, they lack the single, unbroken heritage of the law received directly from Nichiren Daishonin. If one's faith is not based on this line of inheritance, it is worthless to embrace any Gohonzon, for no benefit will be forthcoming. That is to say, "Without the lifeblood of faith, it would be useless to embrace the Lotus Sutra." " Daisaku Ikeda, Buddhism in Action, vol 3, p 254 

"We, ourselves, cannot produce the Gohonzon. Since it's the enlightened entity of Nichiren Daishonin, no one has the authority other than the successive high priests who have been the sole heirs to the heritage of the True Law. We take no part in this. Therefore, the objects of worship inscribed by those in the Butsuryu and Minobu factions [of the Nichiren Shu sect] are absolutely powerless. They are worthless because they are fake. In fact, they contain the power of evil spirits. That is why they are dangerous." Former SGI president, Josei Toda, Daibyaku Renge, 98, p. 98. 

"...the Gohonzons that we recieve are also the living flesh of the Original Buddha whose eyes have been opened according to the principles of the actual Ichinen Sanzen in the passages hidden in depths of the Juryo Chapter and the true attainment of Buddhahood by plants and trees. Why would this very Gohonzon not be the true aspect of the eye opening of wooden and painted images? Omens come and go. Fukushima (Japan, Soka Gakkai International Headquarters), global warming (entire world), Nuclear weapons (entire world) and drought (Santa Monica SGI headquarters) are here for up to a million years (Fukushima whose CEO is a top SGI leader). These are not omens Tanya. If we are to believe Nichiren, they are due to distorted and  slanderous Buddhist beliefs and practices. Read the Rissho Ankoku Ron (Establishing the Correct Law for the Peace of the Land) which talks of reasons for the calamities, not the Omens which come and go.

How hypocritical of you to admonish me and not your own members and leaders, especially your Sensei.That you can't see it or refuse to see it, you are either blind, a liar, or duplicitous. If you did bring it up to your leaders, you would be excommunicated. Are you afraid to admonish them so you pick on a lone individual with little power and influence? Do you know what that is Tanya?
