How can we be sure that it is Mappo [The Latter Day of the Law]?

The path to Supreme and Perfect Enlightenment in Mappo is a path strewn with landmines and IEDs. For example, there is a "Gosho" neither in Nichiren's hand nor found in the earliest collection of writngs that not only is glorified with a most profound title but under the title is written, "Written by Nichiren". This "Gosho", The Unanimous Declaration by the Buddhas, contains concepts antithetical to the authentic teachings of Nichiren. If you take to heart the teachings contained therein, not only will you be led unto the paths of evil but your tongue will fester in your mouth. Similarly, if you take to heart the false teachings in the Ongi Kuden and True Aspect of All Phenomena, you will find yourself writhing on the ground of slander.
