We will never bestow more than one Gohonzon on anyone if they return or willfully dispose of their Gohonzon. People who lose a Gohonzon in a fire or other natural disaster will be able to receive a replacement immediately. Those whose Gohonzon is naturally worn should return it for repair or should repair it themselves. Those whose Gohonzon is damaged because of negligence must wait at least one year before receiving a replacement.
