On December 6, 1991, the 67th High Priest of Nichiren Shoshu, Nikken Abe,
spoke to Tozan members from 10 Hokkeko Chapters: "Soka Shimpo published my
photo surrounded by several Gaisha-girs. Everyone said that that was a
'doctored' photo. Even photo specialists agreed. I mayself don't remember
that photo at all. If such an occasion really existed, I remember, of course.
(snipped) What Soka Gakkai says are all fabrications. I thought to sue Soka
Gakkai, but I changed my mind because it is too cumbersome. I will leave it
to the Priesthood Council."
Indeed, High Priest Nikken made a shameless lie!!! Poor priesthood
publications demonstrated ridiculous, even comical loyality to this lie.
MYOKAN (on 12/15/91) wrote, "Soka Gakkai's doctored photo was exposed." EMYO
(on 1/15/92) published, "High Priest Niken does not have HAKAMA (men's formal
skirt-like costume) with such a pattern." EMYO (on 2/1/92) printed, "A
doctored photo which even an amateur can tell." All of them blindly followed
Nikken's lie.
Then, Rev. Hossho Shiina (previous New York Temple Chief Priest) came forward
and testified, "I took that picture on 11/22/86 at Restaurant Kawasaki in
Akasaka Tokyo. No matter how Nikken attempted to conceal his lies, truths
always came out!

Fact that He Has Built a Family Tomb in a Zen Temple

On July 17, 1989, Nikken held a memorial service for his father, 60th High
Priest Nikkai, and families when he inscribed the gravestone and established
it in the graveyard of Hakusan-ji Temple (Zen Buddhism Soto Sect in Fukushima
City).
It was like a shock of an 8-Richter scale earthquake!!! High Priest Nikken
had built a tomb for his ancesters, including his father, 60th High Priest
Nikkai, in the graveyard of a Zen Temple Hakusan-ji in Fukushima City in
1989!!! Even Rev. Ohmura, the current Study Division Chief, accompanied him
to attend the ceremony. Nikken was a Study Division Chief himself before he
became the 67th High Priest. This cleary demonstrates that Nikken and his
followers do not study (or understand) Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism at all.
When Chugai Nippou, a non-sectarian religious newspaper, scooped this
greatest scandal in the history of Nichiren Shoshu, the priesthood published
a lie saying that the grave site is a public graveyard, not Zen temple's
ground. This is again another lie of Nikken sect.

(a) Seattle Prostitute Incident (March 19, 1963 in Seattle)
In 1994, Seattle Trial started at the Tokyo District court. Before that time,
Nikken had declared many times that he never went out of hotel. Priesthood
publications had repeatedly endorsed his statement. However, when the trial
approached, Nikken changed the statement. He wrote in the deposition that he
went out the hotel on that night, drank wine, took a walk and returned.
(Nikken's another lie!!! Priesthood publications usual lies were also
exposed!!!) On October 30, 1997, at the second cross-examination of the
ex-police officer, Mr. Sprinkle who caught Nikken on the late evening of
March 19, 1963, testified. The points were: "He saw an oriental man with a
bold head was quarreling with two prostitutes over the payment of their
service. Since that man gave Sprinkle a memo with the name and telephone
number of Hiroe Clow, he contacted her. Clow arrived with a car, and
guaranteed Sprinkle that this man was a high-ranking clergy, and that she
would be responsible for the situation." Another ex-police officer, Victor
Mayhle, also submitted the sworn deposition which described the same
observation. There were 4 persons involved in the Seattle case. Mrs. Clow,
Mr. Sprinkle, Mr. Mayhle, and Nikken. The first 3 testified that Nikken was
there. Only person who has been denying this incident is Nikken. Nikken has
changed his story on that night many, many times, and it has not been
consistent. It is natural for the court that the 4th person has to appear the
court. Nichiren Shoshu Administration Office has refused this by saying, "the
court appearance of the High Priest would damage the sanctity of the High
Priest position." However, such an argumant cannot hold true in the court.
The Judge ordered Nikken to appear in Tokyo District court for cross
examination. First for the cross examination by Nikken side attorney on
December 22, 1997 and then, for the cross examination by Soka Gakkai side
attorney on February 2, 1998. Nikken's lie cannot cheat the court. Countless
lies of this unprecedented, fake High Priest will be exposed and punished by
the court.

II. WE DO NOT NEED CULT-TYPE KECHIMYAKU!!!
Most of Nichiren Shoshu lay believers (Hokkeko or Danto members) believe that
67th High Priest Nikken succeeded the high priest position from the 66th High
Priest Nittatsu. They often attack Soka Gakkai in that Gakkai lost legitimacy
of succession.
I would like to object against their opinion and express my views in this
homepage.

III. 67th HIGH PRIEST NIKKEN LED "OPERATION C" TO DESTROY WORLD KOSEN-RUFU
MOVEMENT.

The item 3 of the 4th page of "Operation C" reads, "Some Gakkai members, who
are weak in faith or who cannot make a judgement by reasoning, may become
depressed and it is possible that they commit a suicide or commit an "entire
family-suicide."
Unfortunetely, this became a reality when Nikken launched this "Operation C"
and discontinuted Tozan (a pilgrimage to Taiseki-ji, which Mr. Toda had
initiated to support Taisekiji and the priesthood), Vice President of the
Tozan Bus Company committed suicide. To his funeral, no Nichiren Shoshu
priest attended.
There is no mercy in Nichiren Shoshu. There is no Buddhism in Nichiren
Shoshu. The "Operation C" proved this evidence!!!
IV. NIKKEN'S SLANDER AGAINST NICHIREN DAISHONIN
(a) Nikken Is Building a Slanderous, New Grand
Reception Hall
The Grand Reception Hall in Taiseki-ji, which was built by sincere donation
of Soka Gakkai members, was recently dismantled. This was pushed by Nikken
because of his unusual jealousy over his predecessor, 66th High Preist
Nittatsu. The old Grand Reception Hall was designed by Mr. Yokoyama, a
Hokkeko Member and famous architect, and had received numerous national and
international prizes for its beutiful, lofty design. Nikken insisted that
this building would be dangerous in earthquake. But scientific research was
conducted and its conclusion was that, with a minor enforcement, it shoud
stand safe during earthquakes. However, Nikken ignored the result. His
intention was to destroy it no matter what. (Rememer, to CUT and DESTROY is
his favorite. He even cut his own spermatic duct many years ago!) The new
Grand Reception Hall, which Nikken is now building, has many features common
to Heretical Buddhist temples in Kyoto and Nara. Dai-Nichiren (a priesthood
magazine) has recently made a shocking report. <Picture> As seen in this
photo, the entire image followed Daiho-onji (Shingon temple in Kyoto) and
Saimyoji (T'ien-t'ai temple in Shiga). Inner space followed the design of
Todaiji (Kegon sect in Nara) and Higashi Honganji (Pule-Land sect in Kyoto).
The roof followed the design of Kyoto Gosho (Imperial Palace in Kyoto),
Taisanji (T'ien-t'ai sect in Hyogo) and Saimyoji and Onjoji (both T'ien-t'ai
temple in Shiga). The construction of the pillar follwed the design of
Toshotaiji (Ritsu sect in Nara). Nikken must be the reincarnation of
Sanmi-bo, who was a disciple of Nichiren Daishonin, but went to Kyoto to be
heavily influenced by Kyoto-style culture and despised Nichiren Daishonin.

Masatomo Yamazaki (Ex-Soka Gakkai Attorney and was imprisoned for 3 years
because of blackmailing the Soka Gakkai) focuses, as his next target, on
bonding Nikken and Minobu Nichirenshu. In 1993, Yamazaki approached High
Priest Nikken and adviced him to tie with Minobu Nichirenshu, because Nikken
Shu became one of the smallest religious sects in Japan (number of beleivers
about 100,000). Since Nikken excommunicated SGI, there are not enough
believers to visit Taisekiji and give offerings. Taiseki-ji has been
financially suffering. Nikken wants to use the Dai-Gohonzon for collecting
offering from Minobu Nichirenshu priests and their Danto. However, poor
Nikken does not know that he is utilized by Yamazaki. Yamazaki does not care
about doctrines. All he cares is to control both Nikken Shu and Minobu
Nichirenshu to raise money for his pocket. After released from jail, Yamazaki
visited Minobu Nichirenshu at least 4 times as Nikken's envoy. However,
Nikken did not know that Yamazaki was instigating Minobu Nichirenshu to
attack Nikken Shu. At Minobu, Yamazaki instigated priests to attack Nikken
Shu by reviving "A treatise that the Dai-Gohonzon is a fake." (This was
published by a Nimobu scholor, but was thoroughly refuted by 66th High Priest
Nittatsu.) Yamazaki, as usual, is not loyal to both side. He always sets the
situation whereby both sides have to argue. Then, he volunteers to become the
mediator, thereby controlling both sides. What Yamazaki is interested is
POWER and MONEY!!! History has proven that those, whoever had approached
Yamazaki, eventually destroyed themselves. Now, this time, it is Nikken who
is destroying himself. Wake up Hokkeko members!!! You would soon worship the
Dai-Gohonzon in Taiseki-ji with Minobu Danto members.
(c) HERETICAL DOCTRINES OF NIKKEN SHU
(1) Nikken is the "Priest Treasure" in the Three Treasures (Buddha, Law and
Priest). He is the modern Daishonin, and is identical with the Dai-Gohonzon.
(2) Gosho contains a partial teaching, and the rest is owned by High Priest.
(3) Slander against the Daishonin teachings is not important, because Nikken
himself built the family grave in a Zen temple, (4) Sent Yamazaki as an envoy
to Minobu Nichirenshu, and Allowed the High Priest and many other priests of
Minobu Nichirenshu to worship the Dai-Gohonzon. (5) The deceased cannot
attain enlightenment unless a priest conduct the funeral ceremony (6) Priests
are superior to the Laity. Nikken said, "Laymen cannot attain
enlightenment"and "Buddhism is not compatible with Democracy." (Note) The
special funeral Gohonzon which Nikken sect has been using is actually the
"counterfeit." There are two names in the funeral Gohonzon, namely, "Jyu-O"
and "Enma Dai-O". But these names were later incorporated based upon folk
religions during the Edo period, and were not found in none of the
Daishonin's Gohonzon. Poor Danto members have been worshipping the
COUNTERFEIT GOHONZON for the enlightenment of the deceased.
V. NIKKEN AND MASAKO:
Endless Greediness for Money and Properties
On March 12, 1992, the plan to build a super luxurious Nikken's retiring home
(cost: 2 billion Yen) was leaked out. It pretended to be a Tokyo Office of
Taisekiji. But there was only a small Gohonzon room, and the rest was an
indoor swimming pool and fitness facility. Since the detail was leaked out,
the cancellation of the plan was announced on the next day. In 1996, it was
disclosed that Masako Abe, Nikken's wife, bought a luxurious house (price:
1.5 - 2 billion Yen) in Todoroki, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo to make it the
Taiseki-ji's office in Tokyo. The Nishikata Office, which Soka Gakkai had
donated, was sold. Early 1997, it was disclosed that Masako bought another
luxurious house in Shoto, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo (1.5 billion Yen). This is in the
midst of the most expensive houses lived by CEO's and entertainers. The
location of the house is in the most expensive place among them. Masako
already paid 100,000,000 Yen to remodel the garden. Needless to say, all
these money come from the offerings of the believers. In Taiseki-ji, the
rumor is going on that the "REAL" High Priest is MASAKO ABE.
VI. MASS-MEDIA IS NOT REPORTING THE TRUTH!
For the past twenty years or longer, Japanese tabloid magazines have been
publishing fabricated stories to attack Soka Gakkai. In the year of 1995,
there were more than 500 such articles were published!!! Authors have been
doing this for the sake of money, and the pubishers are doing this for the
sake of profit. It is a well-known fact that these publishers are having a
close tie with the governmental authority, to which the people's power of
Soka Gakkai is the most serious threat. In this section, I will explain what
is happening and how.
