Let us discuss the following Gosho, one of the last Goshos written by Nichiren Daishonin

http://www.nichirenlibrary.org/en/wnd-2/Content/353#para-30

Here is a short passage for the sake of Nichiren Buddhist:

"The object of devotion as set forth in the “Life Span” chapter is Shakyamuni Buddha, the lord of teachings, eternally endowed with the three bodies, who since the beginning of numberless major world system dust particle kalpas in the past has had deep and abiding affinities with this land of ours."

Just a few questions for "Nichiren" Buddhist before we begin. Is Nichiren not clear? Do you need Nichikan or the mentor Ikeda to interpret this very clear and concise passage for you? Would anyone dare to to attempt to clarify this passage with a footnote that states, "Nichiren said that but meant this"?  Should someone, anyone, be so bold, as to amend this passage, to change it, to alter it, should I or anyone stand idly by and let the transgression go unchallenged?
