SGI's rationale of its principle and practice of tribal animality

“According to Nichiren, practitioners who practice Nichiren Buddhism are divided into three types of practitioners; superior, middling and inferior. These distinctions derive from the Lotus Sutra teaching itself and from the principle of the “expanded replacement of the three vehicles with the one vehicle teaching of the Lotus Sutra”. The expanded replacement occurs between chapters three and nine of the Lotus Sutra.”  — SGI Leader
This leader's spin on Nichiren's teachings on the various capacities of individuals is to rationalize SGI's organizational structure which is based on tribal animality. Sometimes, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. The bottom line is that Nichiren teaches that those born in the Latter Day are all of inferior capacity and for this reason, both the Lotus Sutra and he advocate only the One Vehicle Teaching. Everyone who boards the Great Vehicle is equal and arrives at the other shore.
