I forgot you had a Nittatsu Gohonzon. Nichiren gave several of his disciples and believers more than one Gohonzon. For example Shijo Kingo and the priest Nissho. May I suggest you obtain a Nichiren Gohonzon. You may perform an Eye Opening Ceremony (or not... even Shinkei is unsure whether an Eye Opening ceremony is required for a Gohonzon.
