CHas is wrong ....before the treasure tower was opened they were enlighten to the preparatory teachings not MYOHO RENGE KYO = so they were enlightened to the shomon(partial enlightenment) not the honmon.
also chas needs to be reminded that nichiren is the teacher for the latter day. ordained by shakyamuni. so, the gosho is = to the lotus sutra in the latter day., which it was taught for.
